Don’t let the glaringly hot pink and black fake fur dice hanging on the doorway fool you. What happens in the Café stays in the Café (thankfully). Today the staff is inviting us to try our luck at a variety of Vegas-inspired games. They’re playing for noms, we’re playing for fun. Chef Kitty has prepared a menu of hearty sandwiches and salads to give us the energy to keep our wits about us and see us through to Happy Hour. Deal me in!

Morning JK,

Your kits were very well behaved at Dorry’s party. Hope they enjoy their loot bags. The kits strung the beautiful cards that you sent across the Café and they are still up there “enhancing” today’s theme. Hope you had a good wknd. Well, I’d better go back to my card game, I’m playing “twenty-one” with Basement Cat who cannot be trusted. His teenage minions want a game of strip poker, considering that they’re already “nekked” LOL. Not! Catch you L8R.

Snowing here, hard to believe, with more promised. Was just getting used to seeing filthy muddy grass LOL. so much for early Spring. At least not all that cold, but I’ll judge for myself when I go out, which is right about now. I lost everything (but thankfully not my soul) to Basement Cat playing cards. 😉

Good Morning! KJ, Leela and Comet would like to thank you for a great time at Dorry’s party. Leela is still sleeping it off and Comet is awake but bleary-eyed.

I don’t advise playing cards with a cat, but if you do, let the cat win. It is not a pretty sight if the cat loses! It is best just to watch the cats play cards amongst themselves.

I am on the mountain today, knowing my lack of productivity when the clocks change. MIL’s bash wore me out too; you’d think I was the one who turned 80!

Well, my kits have some winnings too! Put it in their stash box with the rest from this weekends from party with Dorry!

LOL/Scoot has it under lock & key in her digs for “da boys” would have it all spent on greenies/nip in no time at all!

Hey all 🙂 hope everyone’s weekend was a good one 🙂 I spent most of it doing trial runs on my hair for the wedding in a few weeks.. Thankfully I settled on a style and am very happy…

The weather is glorious here today!! Getting lots of clothes dried on the clothes line 🙂

Hi all,

Commune love the poor kit who “bet” the litter box LOL. And now I’d just about pander my very soul for a panda cutie!

Buttons, your hair looks gorgeous, so thick and glossy, IMHO looks terrific as is!

Joan, yeah I let the cat win, as it was Basement Cat and his cards were marked. His minions sprung him from lock-up with a file baked into a ‘nip cake.

Just got back from gym fun where class as per usual was overbooked as reception seemingly cannot count. One of the last peeps would have had to take instructor’s bike and be front and centre and she was very shy, so KJ “generously” volunteered her bike. LOL – in truth it was such a high that it will probably be a while before I come down – those endorphins ya know!!!

Hey all – I like the waves and curls, Buttons, they look good on you!

So about a week ago I risked life and limb and ventured into the frozen snowy tundra that is my backyard. I clipped several twigs from my forsythia, which borders my yard. Stuck the sticks in a vase of water and put them on top of the fridge (one of 2 surfaces in the house that Comet can’t get to…yet). Lo and behold, I now have a vase full of bright yellow flowers!

Hey JK, I’m a Christmas cookie, which is sorta interesting, considering … well my holiday featuring cookies is coming up on the 16th. It’s Purim and cookie is “Hamentashen”. Which some peeps have started baking/eating already. Your choice of prune, poppy seed or apricot filling, so long as I don’t have to roll out the dough and bake them (that’s why they have bakeries! LOL) Enjoy!
