Mayday, mayday! Welcome to May!

Welcome to a new month and new possibilities! Kits are baking fresh pastries in the kitchen, muffins, scones, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls…. They are also frying up bacon, ham and sausage.

I did remember to whisper ‘Rabbit, Rabbit,’ before ‘Morning Leela.’ She’s funny, she won’t look for pets and scritches when I’m laying down, but as soon as I sit up, she paces back and forth on my lap, purring away.

This year is flying by and the weeds have grown in a week’s time, crazy.

G’morning kits from sunny & to be 60’s in brewtown today! Ooo May Day cafe looks pretty & smells yummy, thanks Mcat! Didn’t do the rabbit thingy but sent to co-worker for today is her birthday…catching up to me but still a bit behind! Mmm enjoying a cranberry nut cookie in honor of this special day w/my very strong cuppa joe! Waves to Deb, Joan, Kat, Av & Mc to enjoy your day! Now a smooch for Tux, later kits!

What fun, got home fed the crew and outside birds, then remembered that I had forgotten to drop off my rent check…..sigh so will sleep for a couple of hours only to head back into town to drop off that money….Can’t win for losing.

Ah yes, gotta love it when you remember that you forgot something, sigh. I work down the valley, most of civilization is down the valley, so how nuts is it when I remembered that I forgot to do something on the way up the mountain! Hope you get some quality sleep.

Morning everyone. Hurray hurray it’s the first of May! When I was young, I read about the tradition to take flowers to neighbors on the first day of May, place the little bouquet at the door, knock and run away. So for many years, I would pick dandelions and clover and whatever was blooming and make little bouquets for my mom. I would put them by the front door and ring the bell. When we lived in Tennessee and were close to our neighbors, I would do this for them as well.

Today I am leaving each and every one of you a little virtual bouquet by your door to brighten your day. Knock knock!

Aww…thanks KK, sweet memories of the floral classes & shop/s worked in for a bit while in-between jobs years ago! It smelled great & was fun making nosegay boquets too!

Afternoon ladies, hope all are well. I could really use a basket of cuddle kittens about now. First day of any month is rough for me and when the evil trolls are beating on my head, nothing works right. Some “face” time with cuddle babies is just what will get me thru the rest of this day.
