    Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all! Hope you have a very ‘lucky’ day today. The cafe is decorated in all green, shamrock tablecloths and kits dressed in their Irish best! All the noms are ‘tinted’ green today in celebration and the Meezer at the bar is making Shamrock Shakes. You can smell corned beef and cabbage cooking in the kitchen.

    Is anyone Irish? What sort of things do you do on St. Pat’s Day??

    Morning, MC! I’m not Doing anything for St. Paddy’s Day – GG has another dumb hockey game.

    Did have a bit of luck already, though – just got a call from a client at the gym who needs 10 days of dog-sitting – that will pay for a new coil for my car – yay!!!

    Speaking of cars – mine got a new brake pad and rotor yesterday, and I’m now sitting at a bus stop waiting for a bus to take me to the mechanic to pick it up. Can’t wait to drive without loud squealing again!

    Hi MC & GD! The cafe looks awesome! I’m not Irish, however I am today! Not doing anything in particular, but I will make Shepard’s Pie for dinner.

    I think I’m ready for a Shamrock Shake, yum!

    Leela and Comet are heading to the roller rink today, there’s a party. I did my nails in a funky light green last night and now that I see it in daylight…it’s still funky! The nail polish has disappeared, so I think it’s in Leela’s bag. If anyone’s kits go to the party and come home with green claws…sorry! Actually it’s kind of cool and definately a good color for today.

    Just got home and everyone is fed so its time for me to lie down. Hope that those who ring doorbells find some other one to ring today besides mine. Enjoy St Paddy’s Day!

    Fabulous nap with my girls. Woke up to find my sump pump didn’t work and backed up all in my basement. Thank God my landlord was down the road at another of his duplexes. It’s fixed now but I do have a rather stinky mess in the basement. SIGH

    Ew MC – glad it’s fixed though. Yay for the nap too! I just had a nice nap too. The cats were with me but not on the bed; Comet likes the blanket by the window and Leela found a nice sunny spot on the carpet.

    Hey all, I am still at “that” place. Trying to get an auction program spruced up and ready for copyreading. Just that time of year for me. Would much rather be home watching bball! My boss and I did take a lunch break and go over to the local deli where they had live Irish music going and lots of specials. I opted out of Corned Beef and cabbage and just got a turkey sandwich on cranberry wheat bread. Nom! Hoping to leave soon so I can go watch my team play!

    afternoon all!……. been ‘chained’ to my puter today, finishing a grueling educational course for licensing renewal…………… I know it’s necessary, but just a PIA and exhausting at times!!!

    ……………. got some ‘baby back’ ribs in the oven, potatoe salad and fresh summer squash on the menu tonight…………… not a very traditional St. Paddys’ Day meal, but really yummy, and oh so fragrant!

    Afternoon AV, oh the baby back ribs sound really good right now! Traditional or not, they work for me any day 🙂 Glad that you are finishing up your course.
