    So i found a 4 week old kitten in Walmart and I am now starting to introduced him to a litterbox. He will go potty on his own i don’t have to stimulate him. So after stimulating him while he is in the box and leaving the dirty tissues in said box he now goes on his own as long as i place him in the box. Now my problem is my cat Houdini his foster mom wont stop stimulating him while they are in bed together! Will this be harmful to his litterbox training? Should i seperate them?

    Four weeks old is a little young to litter train a kitten. It’s a good time to start, but he’s not completely ready. Eventually he will go there on his own and then he will start squirming and moving away when Houdini tries to stimulate him. If you see Houdini licking baby’s bum (does kitty have a name yet?) you can pick up baby and put him in the litter box.

    Awww. No I think it’s cute. Four weeks is a bit young to be litter trained.

    Houdini may even show him how to use the litter box! That’s what Mama cat’s typically do when they live in a house of course!

    The problem with Houdini showing him is her litterbox is like a tuperware box with a tiny hole at the top so my moms dog wont eat her kitty poop lol. But i guess he is a little to young he can kinda poop on his own but sometimes even i gotta stimulate him. Thanks for the advice CheetahBoysmommy i didn’t think of doing that and no he doesn’t have a name yet cuz i can’t think of anything thats just right for him. Even Houdini didn’t get her name until she was almost 2 years lol. for now i call him turkey butt or kit kat lol….and your right ladysky61 i am sure Mrs. Houdini will know when to stop i am just a worry wart 🙂 thanks guys 🙂
