    Well, it’s a late start to our weekend lounge ……… the kitties have all slept in, and are just now stretching and yawning…….

    ….. the tuxies have volunteered for kitchen duty today, they are on hand to whip anything you like ……….. the orangie brigade have decided to fill the pool with soap suds, so they are splashing around and chasing bubbles all over the lawn……

    ….. Pull up a chair and share your Caturday …… I’ve been following Mr. AV and Son’s trip progress….. they left at 3:30am and are about half way …… Luna has been a good girl – basically napping in the carrier with the front unzipped….. Venus tried sleeping on the dashboard, but after sliding off about 100 times, she finally gave up and crawled in the carrier on top of Luna ans is now finally asleep! LOL ……. Mr. AV just takes it all in stride!

    Glad to hear Luna & Venus are handling the trip well. Hope the rest of the way goes smoothly. Enjoy your time by yourself.

    ..ssshhhhhhhhhhh.. Kilroy, don’t tell them it’s actually getting them bathed … let them think it’s all a game! LOL

    … my guys are making good time, I hope they don’t run into bad weather! …..

    … Abby and I plan to make the most of our ‘solo week’…… I’ve got mountains of work backed up, in addition to trying to put my house back together after Son and ALL HIS STUFF everywhere for the past 2 mos.

    … Dau is here this weekend, and she and I are planning a girls day tomorrow – today she is at a friend’s bridal shower, and I’m trying (unsuccessfully) to motivate myself to starting cleaning, but instead, Abby has me watching a movie and playing on the computer – it’s HER fault of course! LOL

    Hi AV & Kilroy! Glad the boys trip is going well – looks like smooth sailing, weather-wise. Enjoy your girls day tomorrow!

    I made a complete mess of the living room last night and today – sorting thru mountains of paperwork and figuring out what I can get rid of. Almost 2 bags of paper that can go, and a sizeable pile to be shredded. The room still looks like a giant pile of papers that burped!

    Went outside and tackled some gardening, i.e. clipped the dead strands off the hosta plants and the yukka plants. Also trimmed more vines that were terriorizing a tree. This area of my yard is on a rock, and can be precarious. It is not unusual for people around here say, yeah, I fell out of my garden!

    Amazing video, Commune. I wanted to yell at the drivers, though, and tell them to find another route so they wouldn’t bother the deer 🙂

    Weather is holding for the road trippers… just got a text pic of Venus trying to drive lol. Kilroy is it hot there? They have to unload to a 5 story walk up no elevator ….. of course he’s on the 5th floor :/

    Hi AV! I wanted to tell you, that I haven’t forgotten about your coleslaw recipe, I just couldn’t find the time to make it. Next week is still busy, but after that I’ll be free. I’ve already acquired Ramen Noodles, although not in oriental flavor, it’s chicken. We’ll get back to the details later, ok? I’ll have some questions 🙂

    I am taking it easy today after my encounter with the Bitch Queen (mom) yesterday. she disapproves of me in every thing I do. and she is very bold in telling me so, even in front of my father. she is not a nice person, never has been.

    Joan, I can tell you that Hazel is not in AZ thats for sure!

    May the weather cool down when AV’s son and hubby get to NYC so they unload the truck in a little less than heater.
