Is it a hand-cranked one or more automatic? I had a handcranked one and it would hurt my wrists if I made too many batches of cookies at a time 🙁

CM, if your hubby’s mechanical at all, try looking at a local junk car dealer, maybe you could swap out the whole door for a cheap fix.

A cookie machine? Awsome! I did a bunch of shopping on Amazon, but these pawprint muffin pans have me stumped; just got them yesterday. They are like a rubber material, not tin like I thought. That’s what I get for rush shopping on my lunch hour! I guess they’re for chocolates or jello. Anyway, they’re from the animal rescue site so they are still worth it. My sister better not be lurking, they are for her!

Siobhan..I wish he was..He knows how to step on the gas and that’s about it. He is not handy in the least. We know a few people who might be able to do it if we need to go that route.

    Joan,

The muffin tins should come with some type of instruction, but if they’re like the ones I get here, you can use them just like tin ones. Mine bake, and what I like about them is it’s real easy to pop stuff out.

CM – Sorry about the car!!! My hubbs isn’t mechanical in the least, however, he “thinks” he is!! LOL . Everytime he tries to “fix” something, it costs me twice as much because I have to pay someone else (who really does know what they’re doing) to unfix hubb’s attempt, and then really fix it!!! And don’t get me started on him hanging things on the wall!!! He’s notorious for nailing things up…. everytime time I turn around, he’s put another hook somewhere, and there hangs my purse, my slippers, my keys… just to name a few.!

Hey, I want a cookie machine!!

Joan….. According to the animal rescue site, your pawprint muffin pan(s), are made of silicone. Can be used in an oven up to 400 degrees, microwave safe, and put in the freezer. I personally don’t own any silicone bakeware, but have given it for gifts. Being a traditionalist, I like tin!!

Really? I thought they would melt or burn. They didn’t come with any instruction, just a brochure on other products. They sure look cool. Thanks AV & CM!

Good morning all. I made the mistake of going to see Transporter 3 with a friend last night. OMG, that movie stunk. I have now learned to never go see the third sequel of any movie as it is a waste of time due to being so badly made. Glad I didn’t pay for the movie ticket. $10 for a movie ticket! Ouch. Feeling a bit tired this morning due to staying up too late. Note to self, get to bed by no later than 10pm. sheesh, I should know better. I must stay off of my computer tonight.

I received a phone call from my attorney yesterday and he said that he is drawing up the final divorce papers and sending them to my soon to be ex-husband to sign. Once he gets them back he will call me in to have me come into his office to sign them and then he will submit them to the court. He mentioned that my husband called his office twice so far to find out the status of the divorce. It seems as though my husband is in a hurry to get divorced. I am to assume he wants to remarry as quickly as possible so he can re-apply for his green card. My attorney’s office can be a bit slow in sending out the document (known to take a week to send it out after it has been signed) so I won’t have my divorce before Christmas as well as the courts don’t move that fast. I was told 4-6 weeks so I am hoping to have it by the end of January. When I do get the court stamped document declaring me divorced, I am breaking out the champagne. We are going to party like it’s 1999..well make that 2009!

SMM, I’m soooo partying like you! I’m not heavy into numerology, but I’ve noted that major events in my life seem to happen in the 9th year of the decade. Since 2008 was mostly yucky, I’m really looking forward to 2009!

Hi peeps! I am back in Finland with a sore throat. 🙁 The trip itself was wonderful. I loved meeting Rubia, MCW and Metsa (sorry about the camera, Metsa!)

I’m pretty sure it’s the kind where you squeeze the lever and the dough gets pushed thru the disc. It has metal discs, which my mom told me to get cause she said her plastic discs sucked. And it was $10 off the original price, so I said SOLD!

Miu!! Glad you had a good trip and are back safe and sound. Sorry you aren’t feeling well! Siobhan, I watched the kitten with the broccoli video you mentioned is on LOLcats (Icanhazcheezburger). That was so cute! I want the kitty too.

SMM, glad things are at least finally progressing with your divorce. I know it has been a long frustrating road for you. We’ll all celebrate with you when the final i is dotted and the final t is crossed!

Joan, my niece has the silicone baking pans and loves them. I don have any, but I have silicon pot holders and tney are amazing! No more scortched fingers when pouring water off of pasta. These can get wet and it doesn’t matter.

CM, I hope the car is a quick cheap fix!

well finally…hubby walked home and told me they have to replace the latch on the door and it’s a dealer only part(of course). The car is at the dealer anyway, so he told them to fix it and to check out the windshield wiper fluid pump as well…so it will cost $290.00 for both. Merry Christmas…lol…at least I know the door will now close and I don’t have to worry everyday that it will pop open on the freeway when he is driving it. Wayne took the Santa Fe to work for a few hours while they work on the other car. Sigh..always something.
