    I’m taking Lacey to the vet tomorrow morning and was wondering how I should prepare?

    Do you have a carrier for her? She’ll need to travel in one to be safe. There’s a good chance she’ll get scared and cry on the ride there, and possibly at the vet’s as well. Try to keep her away from any dogs there, many cats are terrified of dogs and you don’t want to scare her more than she already is.

    If she’s getting shots, she may be sleepy for the rest of the day – my guys usually are.

    I don’t think there’s really any way to prepare. Maybe bring a few treats for her. My boys are too scared to eat when they go, but she may be happy to be rewarded with some nice treats.

    I do have a carrier and treats. I hope it goes well. They were very nice on the phone. 🙂

    The vet visit went very well! Lacey got de-wormed (she had hookworms) and a shot and I am in charge of giving her antibiotics twice a day for ten days.

    Fantastic, Julia! She was a good girl for the vet? Does Lacey have a URI?

    BTW, if you will be giving her the pink liquid antibiotic twice a day, be prepared for Lacey to salivate a lot. Don’t be alarmed, it’s perfectly normal.

    It’s milky white. I can’t remember what it’s called and it’s in the fridge and I’m too lazy to get up lol. She was a very good girl 🙂 They did not say that she has URI but if she does, I’m sure the antibiotics will get rid of them. Thanks!

    If it’s white, I bet it’s Clavamox.

    I think so. I read the list of things the antibiotics treat and I’m in wayyy over my head lol
