    Just wondering about this.

    Ood seems to get very, very floppy in his sleep (when I move him he just sort of dangles, unless I actually wake him) and when he’s been asleep for more than 30 minutes he twitches! I only notice because he is curled between me and my computer at night while I watch TV/movies, and it just seems so sad! Is he having kitty dreams? Or is he just tense? He seemed to like when I massaged the muscles, but the twitching didn’t really stop. It’s not seizure like or anything, not strong and he’s in no apparent distress. I assume it’s just his brain keeping his muscles active in his sleep?

    Oh, yes, kitties do dream and they all twitch. Some of them even snore… 😀

    Many kitties twitch when they’re sleeping – makes you wonder what they are dreaming! And they are usually floppy till they have decided to awaken, then they stretch. Nothing like a good stretch to wake up; it’s good for hoomans too!

    I figured 🙂 But since I don’t know much about cats, whenever anything happens that I’m not sure of, I’m going to ask, LOL. It’s cute, his whiskers and nose go and everything, hehehe. I <3 this cat…he’s pretty much patient with everything and SUCH a cuddlebug.

    Except in the morning if I sleep too late…then he eats my toes >.<

    OMG…too sweet.

    I have to say that I really like having a cat. They’re just so cute. Which surprised me, because I have always been a bird person. One of my bird-keeping buddies did make a good point about that though…birds are only really one step away from the wild, so they’re not exactly cuddly or domesticated like cats and dogs. And that does make a difference!
