    Hello all!
Firstly would just like to say hello 🙂 just signed up today as I need a little help with my new kitten.
I have one who is 9 months old called Treacle (female)
And a new female who is 7 weeks old called Pippa.

It’s a little early for her to come live with us but the mummy cat fell ill and I agreed to take her early. She’s been with me a few days now and poos in the little tray fine and laps kitten milk from a bowl.
But the problems im having are , she won’t eat kitten food. Ive tried a couple of brands (Asda own and whiskers) kitten treats and ham.
And she is having trouble with weeing, she wees ok but not in the litter tray! She just seems to wee wherever she is and it always goes all down her legs!
    Please help 🙁

    Hi Rebecca,
I’m just here to say “Welcome.” Unfortunately I have no experience with such young kitties. Fortunately plenty of other TDKer’s do and I am sure that they will provide you with advice. My only suggestion would be a vet visit/phone call. Your kitties will need to be followed for shots, check-ups in any case and a visit provides excellent opportunity to ask questions, get tips etc. Cute names! Treacle must be a sweetie! 😉

Hello.. I have a new kitten, the vet says he is 4 weeks old, he was found outside our property and I just didn’t have the courage to tell my kids to leave him there. Since then I’ve been trying to take care of him, took him to the vet, he gave him a deworm medicine, showed me how to stimulate the peeing but it’s not working.. He hasn’t peed for 2 days now.
I’m concerned about the peeing, and also about people telling me I should isolate him from my dog cause it can have viruses.. I didn’t know that and the kitty has been close to my dog.. Also people telling me that is dangerous for my daughters.. Saying that kittens can carry viruses that are bad for them. Help please. I need answers from experts.
