Hello,

This is my first post, and I am a first time cat/kitten owner. Wish I had this forum a few weeks ago when I was new to kitten mothering but I managed!

So I decided that I would condense all my kitten videos and photos into one video (cheesy/sad isnt it?). Is it actually a cute video or am I a crazy cat woman already? If you have the patience to watch four minutes of him – please tell me is the crazy jumping normal? I think it’s just so funny.

Hi Lydyth. Henry is gooorgeous and obviously already very attached to you!!! I was LMAO when he started hopping around the floor. I’ve never seen anything quite like that. Well, one of my cats was almost named Cricket, because she hopped like one when she ran, but nothing near Henry’s jumping. lol Maybe he’s been watching too much Tiggerr. C loves to kick things like Henry was doing just before hopping…Kong makes a kick toy just for that. C adores the thing, because it crinkles when she kicks it. She carries it all over the house. Look in the cat toy section. I know Henry will love one, too.

That’s a great video, Henry’s a real entertainer and such a cutie!

My kitten is 11 weeks old and she does that jumping thing, my hubby calls it her ninja moves!

Thanks guys! and thanks for your stories as well. I cant believe how loving he is 😀 and such good fun. I always thought i didnt like cats until i got him (my first cat/kitten)

Finally saw it – love the cricket-jump! Comet has started doing that…as an adult! He never did it as a kitten & it’s funny to see a giant black cat jumping around sideways!

hey Lydyth,

What breed is Henry? cos my Charger and he could be twins! Not only looks wise but behavior wise. Charger also hops and jumps around a LOT! And sleeps on his back with his paws up like a bunny. I will make a Catster page and share some of his pics if you are interested. Btw he also grabs my fingers and chews on them just like he does yours. Only now that he’s 5 months old…it hurts! Coupled with the bunny kick and he has me yowling in pain everyday. My legs and hands look like I’m into self mutilation or something.
