    my kitten used to be playful and can never sit still but lately he hasnt been very active and would just lay down. i noticed he started coughing & sneezing a week ago. i didnt pay much attention and just gave it water since i thought it would go away on its own. yesterday he was breathing heavily & rapidly. his nose wasnt blocked. his eyes are watery & he looks skinny & weak. he wont eat either though i know hes hungry so i had to put food in his mouth(force feed). help me please i cant stand seeing him like this 🙁

    Hi lin,
    You need to get your cat to the vet as soon as possible. It sounds like he could have an upper respiratory infection/pneumonia and will need antibiotics. Hopefully you have an emergency vet you can call. In the meantime, make sure you keep him hydrated by giving him water and liquids, or pedialyte–you do not want him to get dehydrated.
