    Hi, I have noticed that my cat has losen a lot weight. He was always thin, in compared to her sister but we thought it is normal because he eat less and play more. We just to feed him more but he don’t.

    But now we can see he is very thin in stomach area and also breathing quickly.

    He still eat less, mostly I have to feed him myself.

    I will take him to vet but as people here don’t care about cats, so vets also don’t know much about them (at least that’s what I think). Earlier, one of the two vets had suggested my cat paracetamol tablet.

    So, I really cannot believe the vet blindly.

    So, please suggest me what could be the problem and what it cannot be but a not good vet can suggest?

    Hopefully, Akash.

    Hi Akash,

    Of course, taking him to the vet. is the best idea but, in the meantime, do you have meat variety of baby food? Also, you can pick up some Goats’ milk. If you don’t have access to Goats’ milk in the store then find a vendor/farm to get some milk. You will need to pasturize it but that’s easy.

    He may be dehydrated so make up some Pedialyte;

    Homemade Pedialyte Recipe #2
    4 cups water.
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda.
    3 tablespoons sugar or honey (remember that babies can’t have honey until they’re at least 1 year old)
    1/2 teaspoon salt.

    Try these and let us know how things are going for you.
