It isn’t easy. I wish there were better words, but I leave that to WWM, but I do add my prayers. I know that He hears and helps ease the grief of a broken heart.

Oh, Betty, Susie, all of you — thank you so much for your kind words! They are getting me through this. I keep thinking I see him, but at least I know where he really is: in the Meadow, with new friends and all the hidey-holes and hedge-rows, trees to climb and sweet catmint beds to explore, and the Great Wolf of Gubbio keeping each of them, and my darling little Rotley, under his loving care.

Emma, I posted on the site where you so very graciously shared an excerpt from what is sure to be a truly wonderful work. Heartbreakingly beautiful, the sad thing is that often our hearts break and inspiration comes. It should not be this way. I don’t know you except from reading the posts of others but I do wish you (eventually) some relief from your anguish, in the knowledge that you loved, were loved in return, are now loved from the Bridge, and are loving. Take care.

I have seen Rotley so often in these past days. And he is always with my Bombalurina. Bomber seems to have taken our sweet boy under her wing. Two beautiful black kitties….. laying together in the sun. So peaceful…..

What a lovely sight, WWM. I am sure Shaddo has reunited with his pal; they had so much fun at parties. “Hey, check it out,” Shaddo says to Rotley and the crowd as they stand at the part of the Meadow that has a view of everything. “My little brother kind of looks like you. I hear you and Ruggles met him, either at the roller rink, or at that party he had last summer.” Rotley nods. “Actually, I think your sister is cute.” Jiggs sighs, and giggles with his pals Cowboy and Sebastian.
