Mmmm good JK! IMHO everything is enhanced by maple syrup! 😉
Speaking of eats, today got to do a good deed and score some good noms. Woman has table set up every Friday at gym/community centre. She sells/caters home-baked stuff. I’d never thought much of buying anything then noted that she had huge pan of date squares, which I’d never be so daring to attempt chez moi. So I bought one, then found out that she only gets 1/3 of profits, the rest goes to support centre’s special needs programs. So felt just a bit virtuous. Plus when slicing and stowing squares in freezer did a small taste test. Delish! These dates are preferable to the few that I’ve gone out on. Done with that phase of life and not missing it at all! LOL
