Well…I just got a good look at the gray feral(I honestly think there are 2)out back a bit ago. It looks like one of the slime in this park has used it as target practice. It clearly looks like a pellet wound. Please excuse the graphic nature, but, someone has clearly shot this poor cats eye. The white I was seeing is it’s eye turned in from injury.

I’m sorry if some may think of this as unfluffy, but,I needed others to help with praying that I can trap this poor cat. I have the trap set up at the base of our levee where it ran off to when it saw me.Very difficult for it with just one eye. Please, I dearly need alot of prayers to save this fella from any more despicable torture. I wish I could catch the vermon that would do such a thing to an innocent animal. May Bad Karma get them in return.

Thanks in advance for your prayers. He needs help badly & I’m only one.

Thanks 2b. I don’t feel much like an angel. Or I won’t until I can capture this poor kitty. I cried when I saw the injury. How can anyone do such a thing?

All my positive thoughts and prayers to you Susie! Good luck in catching the poor baby.

What comes around, goes around and the vermin that did this will get theirs, in this life or the next, count on it!

Susie, I wish you the best of luck in capturing the grey feral. Question: since you’ve seen that someone clearly does not wish the ferals well, are you able to supervise the trap when you put food in it? Or drape it with some heavy camo fabric, over a plastic bag (to obscure the trap)?

anncetera…If I walk into the street,I can look into the back area where the trap is set up & see whether It’s been tripped or not. Because the bar on the side of the trap has to be left exposed in order to be tripped,I’m limited to covering it. I can’t control where the cats roam at night. I’m sure the kitty wandered into the the yard of a neighbor that has a sick mentality & thinks it’s alright to shoot things.

There’s allready a new family moved in that carefully in the dead of night poisoned 3 raccoons & threw their bodies down the other side of the bankment without being seen. Even if they were seen by someone, alot of people here don’t want to turn them in for fear of retaliation. They better hope that I don’t catch them…they will be sadly sorry they did.

Good luck with catching this kitty. I am very saddened at the thought that someone would shoot at such a beautiful and innocent creature. I am sure the person responsible for shooting at the kitty will get bad karma.

Susie…my heart goes out to that poor feral with the injured eye. You are my hero…I can’t tell you how proud of you I am whether you succeed in trapping the cat or not! Noone else in your park is doing near what you are. It really irks me to think of the cruel ways others deem acceptable when dealing with unwanted ferals and wildlife! Karma is a bitch and we don’t always get to witness their share of bad luck…but Karma never misses and will always pay it’s visit! Love ya Sis! Always you have my prayers!

Like Tigerlilly, I just saw this post. Poor kitty – I pray you are able to catch her. There’s a special place in hell reserved for those who hurt animals.

Susie, again I wish you good luck in catching this injured cat.

(The reason I was asking is because I wouldn’t put it past a sadistic SOB to shoot the cat while it’s captured in the trap.)

Susie, you ARE an angel, because you keep trying when many a lesser person would have given up. I am full of admiration for you and for your strength. I’m praying hard you manage to catch him this time. Oh, and if you do catch up with the &*%%@ who did it, please can someone capture the outcome on video? I’d love to see that on youtube…you are a pocket rocket!!

So far…no luck in trapping the injured feral today. It’s frustrating because I can’t leave the trap set overnight because of the raccoons. If I trap a coon, they’re too big & heavy to relocate by myself. And as usual the usual excuse for a man partner I’m living with is off camping again. More like running away from his responsibilities. But,anyways, all I can do is reset the trap again tomorrow. I’m really running out of time also with the Siameezer. It won’t be long before she’s in heat again. My vet set up for me to get a pill that will sedate her so I hopfully can catch her, but, because partner is nowhere around,I don’t have the money yet to get the pill.

I’m between a rock & a hard spot. I can’t get the Siameezer to stay within the boundaries of the yard to sedate her because the feral is in the area. Which takes me back to square one in which I need desperately to trap the uncooperating injured feral. Your prayers are still very much needed for the feral to let me trap him/her. I’ll let you know how it goes. {{{HUGS}}} for the prayers you’ve offered so far. They’re sooooo appreciated.

Good luck, Susie. You are definitely in my prayers. If the injured feral and the Siameezer understood how much you cared about them, they would walk right up and knock on your door, begging to come in!

I’m praying for you and the kitties, Susie!

You know, I thought about this last night when I went to sleep, and what I came up with is that I think God sends you these kitties because He’s got faith in you. It’s hard, I know, but He knows that you’ll take good care of His creatures that are in trouble and need help. He knows you can handle it, Susie, and we here at TDK all do, too!

Shoot me an email if you need anything, okay?

    Big hugs!
