HELLO! I just need a little advice.
I have recently taken in a very emaciated kitten. He is three weeks old and has a cleft lip. (His palate is fine)
I cant get him to nurse regularly because he is so weak and he can’t hold his head up and such so I feed him from an syringe medicine dropper. He eats just fine and urinates pretty regularly. (all over me most of the time) but he has only pooped once since I’ve had him. (three days tomorrow) I stimulate him after he eats with a warm rag and still after two days nothing :/ I’m starting to get worried. I’ve tried giving him a small amount of plain water before he ate and still nothing :c any advice?
oh and I took him to see a vet today and be said I’ve been doing everything right and that he should be okay. But I’m worried.
