lol GD, if it doesn’t have a happy ending, I can’t read it or see it! (Braveheart is one of my favorite movies of all time but I watched horrified once, and haven’t been able to see it again)

I don’t know, Deb. I didn’t see any others on Amazon about Homer. There are two books on Dewey.

WWM, you are right there is currently only one book on Homer, thought I had seen a magazine article about the author and that she said she was going to write another book about him.

I have already read it, Cheri. So good. But I loved Dewey’s story in the original book.

I’m now reading Homer on my nookbook. What a beautiful story. And especially poignant after seeing the video about the blind man that Susie posted.

If you’re into reading, you can try out a novel by Luis Sepulveda, a very talented Chile-born writer, called: “The story of a seagull and the cat who taught her to fly”. It might seem children-targeted but it’s always a lovely book to read, and with a lot of hidden meanings. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks Lottey – I may look into that one.

WWM, my copy arrived yesterday, yay! Started reading the moment I got it out of the envelope.
