CC, Karenopa is correct. Keep Top Cat on the fitten formula fro a couple of more weeks and then gradually introduce him to regular food. He is vocal because he is lonely for his mama and littermates and wants your attention. Give him all that you can and he will bond with you. Give Tarzan all the love you can spare too. Even though he is a couple of weeks older he needs it as well.

Yes FH, we just gotta love the orange and white dunderheads!!! I do find however that the ones that aren’t too bright are the best cuddlers and will always be right by your side. A much more admerable trait that just being “bright” if you ask me. {{{hugs for Bosley}}}

I can’t wait to see pictures of your furry family. Sounds like you have a housefull (even if they live outside). Poor Tarzan to be stuffed into a mailbox. Glad you are willing to help him and Top Cat. Thank you for doing that.

If the kitten is thriving on the kitten formula that’s fine but yes you can feed the goats milk mixed with the kitten formula watch if the kitten starts with diarrea it’s too rich and both may be watered down. I have raised many animals on goats milk and formula mix as I usually can get the goats milk for free from a friend.

Keep up the kitten formula, it’s the best. At 4 weeks you can try offering small amounts of wet kitten canned food–don’t be surprised if he attacks it and growls while eating! Since he’s using the litter box now he’s old enough to begin eating on his own–try putting the milk in a saucer for him to drink.

Hello Everyone at TDK, sorry it took so long to give an update but between work and the new kitties I am running mad. Top Cat is doing GREAT! Tarzan is now Tarzana according to the vet…ha I am going to figure out how to put pics on and get them to you….. Thanks for all your advice, you are all so awesome….
