It’s about 18 months now, GD. I surely went through a lot of Feliway (but that definitely helped hugely). And I wouldn’t say we’re out of the woods yet, since Millie’s first instinct is still always to jump on her sister.

Those shipping container homes were unique–it is hard to buy a house and people are getting creative and using resources that already exist. I like that creativity!!

Hi, SM and CM, I am almost off to bed now. SM, I agree, I saw an article yesterday about a couple who had gutted an old double decker bus and turned it into a two-bedroom home, it looked gorgeous! Plus I have always rather liked the idea of having an old restored railway carriage in the garden as a guest room/summer house. I think it would be such fun!

Debs, lol, I know, I can’t think why Libs doesn’t want to be landed on from a great height by a great lump of 18-month-old cat who moves like a cross between a drunken werewolf and a zombie (but cuter, lol).

There are a few box car homes here in NM. We are a train city, so we have plenty to use! There was a gift shop that was also made from a train box car! I love the creativity and using something that will just sit and rot in a landfill if not used.

Joan, you don’t realise how apt that song is. Auckland where that photo was taken has 55 known volcanoes. It is a city of over a million people too.

SM, she’s in the US. She just had a travel plan snafu but they reached their destination with their wallets lighter by many $$$$$.

Hello kits…waving from Up Nort’ in the sticks on a sticky evening! Wanted to pop in to the library & cool off while the fans are doing there thing on the now opened-up house! Kits survived the trip all zonked out in their carriers with the help of calming chew treats! (It does help for a 5 hour trip!) Crockey serenaded me for about 1/2 hour & than joined Lucky in the land of zzz’s! Wishes for all to have a calm eveining with cooler temps for those in the Northern hemisphere heat zone and nice and toasty for those in the Southern hemisphere. Be back on when have a chance. Now a smooch for Tux, later kits!
