Does anyone have a good recipe for home made doggie biscuits? I want to make them for some friends’ daschunds. I’m looking for a recipe you roll out like sugar cookies and can cut into fun shapes.

Cat treats would be good, too!

Hi Lisa…there are several different sites with great dog and cat treat recipes. Here’s one that has several dog treat recipes, I’m not sure if you’ll find exactly what you want but have a look. 🙂

liseylau, good luck with making them, it sounds like fun. Saw a show on dog treats recently on the finelivingnetwork and they had mentioned that the treats that held together the best was actually the ones cut out like dog bones. The speciality stores had tried lots of shapes but that shape held together the best, just a tidbit of useless info I know, lol.

Thanks ya’ll! I want to make them for a friend’s daschunds. I used to buy them occasionally on special occasions at a specialty store by my house….but it closed, just overnight. No warning. They lost their lease. So I thought, well, heck, if they can do it, I can do it. Or give it a good try, anyway!
