Hello! Back at it again with the questions. This is the first time I’ve raised kittens [ever] and they where estimated about 3 days old. [6 of them] Now they are just hitting the 3rd week and getting much more active.

Should I still be keeping them mostly in their box/nest?

I got a folding box from the humane center, I was going to take them there once two got sick, but they where going to euthanize them for their age. So back home they went with me.

I’ve lost two, one to unknown causes and the other to URI. I’ve got one on the upswing from the same thing, so I am extremely wary about everything.

    Welcome back Stephanie,

I’m glad you’re still caring for the wee kits. Some peeps, rightly so, get saddened by the loss of kits.

Please keep up what you’re doing and if you have any other concerns let us know. Hopefully, we’ll see them as our TDKs.

You can set up a larger pen for them to play in but they’re still a bit to little to give them free rein.

Here’s some instructions for making you’re own playpen:

Oh, thank you! I’ve definitely got climbers. Going to wait a bit for the smallest to get a bit better before trying this. Thank you for the information :]
