I’m Tim, I’m 28 and I’ve recently accidentally come into possession of a 4 month old ginger kitten!
I wasn’t looking for a cat at all as the last two I had (again, acquired accidentally) were both killed on the same road in quick succession. This obviously upset me hugely and I was not looking to go through the experience again.
Then a friend of mine – a single mother of a 7 month old baby – asked for help re-homing her kitten. The baby had been scratched a couple of times as the kitten tried to play and the mother wasn’t prepared to take any risks.
So after trying and failing to find a good home locally, I offered to take him. And I am SO glad I did, he’s brilliant 🙂
But as I live alone most of the time I thought I should probably get my kitten a kitten. So now, two weeks after never thinking to have a cat ever again, I have two. A beautiful ginger tom called Mal, and a tiny fluffball tortoiseshell girl called Saffron.
There’s lots of things I haven’t considered so I was looking around for advice online and found this place, and it seemed like a good idea to sign up!
So I have.
Hi!
