Hi!! I just got an adorable litter of 4 foster kittens.
2 out of the 4 are happy and healthy, but I have some questions about the other ones. One of the kittens (a tortie :D) has been sneezing a lot. It probably sounds stupid, but she has constantly been sneezing and her nose is pretty stuffy. The papers from the animal shelter said that they gave her saline drops, but I don’t have those, so I’m not sure what to do. Is it even a big deal?
The other kitten I’m worried about is one that the other kittens have been nursing on his genitalia and he is very raw and sore down there. The kittens don’t nurse on anyone but him, and he doesn’t suckle on them. I don’t want to separate them, since he is so small and he needs them for warmth and to play with, so I don’t know what to do. Can I put anything on him to make it less sore? He will barely let me pick home up. I’ve heard that Bitter Apple works; has anyone tried that?

Are ALL of the other kittens sucking on him or just one in particular? Separate him from the rest with a nest of his own if they are all sucking on him…heating pad on low wrapped in a towel and a place for him to crawl off if he gets too warm, and a stuffed animal for him to lay with.

I’ve not used bitter apple, but I’ve heard it works. I would separate him first though, and put some neosporin on his sores after cleaning and drying them well. Let him heal, poor little mite.
