I am new here. I have been involved in dog rescue for some time. However, we have a number of feral cats in our neighborhood. We have been feeding them. On 2/15, one of them had a litter of four under our van in the driveway.

The mother cat is barely more than a kitten herself. I wonder if she really knew what to do with them. She did clean them and cut the cords. However, she promptly left them. We have been trying to raise them. Despite our best efforts, we lost two. The other two seem to be doing well, but are having real problems with constipation.

I am really appreciative of this site where I can learn from those who know what they’re doing. Thank you for all the wonderful tips and suggestions. It is nice to have a place to interact with others who have had similar experiences. I look forward to learning from you, and hopefully will be able to offer help of my own, once I have a little more experience.

Best wishes to all of you and your feline companions.
