Happy Mew Year! Most folks are in the deep freeze but furries are keeping them warm. My Lilbit guy has his butt mostly on my shoulder.

I hope you and yours are excited about 2018!

It his been murderously cold is much of North America (except the West) and even quite far south. Murderous especially for the homeless – cats and dogs as well as humans. Fortunately yesterday the horrific cold broke and it was a normal winter day; I went for a good walk, the equivalent of several métro stations, to get some sort-of-fresh air into my lungs and at least a bit of exercise. It will be tolerable today too and then return to the deep freeze, so I have to plan to get some fresh groceries, especially vegetables. I want some Asian-type greens…

Livia is just doing her normal small-black-cat thing. Tail usually straight up in the air.

It’s pretty cold here too. At times it’s below zero. 🙁 🙁 Stock up on food and have plenty blankets ready in case of power outages. You and your cats stay warm. 🙂
