    Happy New Year

    It’s 41 minutes into the new year now, so far so good even though it was a damp New Year. KK, Mum and our families watched a great fireworks display from the balcony and listened to the ships in port blowing their horns and sirens. Thank you for the wonderful wishes PG and KJ.

    Thanks KKat, it’s still New Years day here so not at all too late.
    We had family around for a leisurely breakfast of bacon,eggs and avocado under the umbrella on the deck and then KK,Airy and I went shopping at the local beaches, silly move as the beach areas are just bedlam with people. It’s a stinking hot day(sorry for complaining about the heat when so many of you are in the depths of Winter) but it is so unbearably hot here today.

    Sounds like a nice leisurely breakfast. No worries re hot weather complaints, in 6 months we’ll be whining about the heat as you are feeding your fire!
    Shopping at the beaches sounds like fun though, nothing like that around here.

    Happy New Year everyone! We went to bed early, it’s a pain trying to stay awake to watch the ball drop so….! Cooking today the usual roast pork and sauerkraut, but it does smell good. I need some coffee…
    MS, it’s so cold here I can aim a fan to you and cool you off right quick! 16* with 20 mph winds otta do it! You need to aim your fan my way tho’…I am like you, I do NOT like really HOT weather, I’ll take this stuff any day.

    Happy New Year KZ and ECB!
    I, for one will not be complaining when we get extreme heat sometime in the future. But don’t begrudge others who are in the warm now either. LOL. Used to watch the Bowl parades, have not done so in recent years, and football, well I can’t fathom what is going on in that game at all! Did some Hazeling as laundry, gym opens for holiday at noon so will do spin class on own, although for sure there will be other peeps doing their own thing there. Then headed for an appt, then home. Not much excitement and in stressful state, so have to I dunno just keep at it I guess. Have a great day, ladies, all, wherever this first day of ’15 takes you. *Have to get used to typing 2015 or I’ll be getting all the upcoming Café titles wrong!*

    HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!! I enjoy reading about everyone’s new years eve/day. I am still trying to heal my twisted knee so laid down very early last night and fell asleep after putting damp heat on it. Have been SO tired lately. Today it’s very windy!!! My poor wind chimes! But, the sun is shining away and such a nice, cheery day here. 🙂 Birds are at the feeder and lots underneath it. Love seeing the birds!! Dear little creatures. The deer have been hanging around here a lot lately, probably trying to avoid being shot! 🙁 I had seven the other day! They have the cutest faces with white edging their ears, and such nice details of color. Too sweet!!!! Everyone enjoy their day today!!!!! Best wishes for 2015!!!!
