Wow, it’s a beautiful Caturday morning here in Sunny Fla! …… so sorry for those still experiencing the cold/wet blasts of Father Winter! ….. it’s georgous here today, and the meezer brigade is packing a picnic to take to the beach ….. Spring Break has arrived, and the area is ‘aswamp’ with bikini and surf trunk clad party goers (thankfully no speedos spotted yet! LOL) …..

….. just wanted to say good morning everyone! …… had dinner overlooking the water yesterday, and looking forward to the beach picnic today! …… I hope everyone has a great day …… we are blessed to have the friendships of this wonderful site …… whatever your circumstances are, we always find love and support at TDK! …… Life is good

So happy for the Bday party success, Joan! ….

…. what a wonderful link to the ‘Disney’ cats! LOL …. doesn’t surprize me, since that’s only about 60 min. drive from me, and we had year round passes for most of my kids lives! …. went at least 2-3 times per year from when they were 3-18 years old….. actually spent Y2K there as a family at the MGM studio park! LOL … in Fla. there are always mice/rats/rodents, as we are so close to the water and swamp/everglades type of terraine …. so it makes sense that we have numerous feral colonies of felines! …. Tampa, Orlando, and many of our cities have great TNR programs, and I’m glad Disney is a good part of it!

Paws up! Joan that is fantastic the MIL party was a great surprise and went well. I bet you are tired though from organising.
AV, you are having a lovely weekend. I am jealous.
I do believe Shadz is still at Dorry’s party. She popped in this morning to wake us up and then she was off through the wormhole again with a flick of her tail.
It’s Sunday evening here and I’m just relaxing for a while before heading for bed.

Morning all! Joan, you deserve to rest today after the party success! …… MS and Commune, I hope your Monday starts off well, you guys will get there before us! Daylight savings time is back in the US today (yay!) …… it’s early this year, for some reason we only had 4 mos. of ‘regular’ time …… I just don’t understand why they don’t have daylight savings time year round ….. seems to me like eveyone prefers it! …… I love having the extra hour of daylight in the evenings to get stuff done!

…… evening though it’s Sunday here for me, I need to get a jump start on my computer input, so I’m going to work today ….. if I get everything done that I want, we’ll play nine holes later on……. again, that extra hour makes it possible 🙂 ….. hope everyone has a great day! Hazel is ‘supposed’ to come see me tomorrow ….. let’s see if she shows up …..

I do not like this time change. Losing an hour is not beneficial to anyone that is sick! The flu has been wicked this year, and it seemed I had escaped when so many have been sick. Unfortunately I was wrong. Time to get papers graded and finish the work from yesterday I didn’t finish when this all hit. I will be a miserable person this week, but just have to hang in there and shake this crud.

Hi SM, great to see you but very sorry you have the crud. Hope you are able to shake it fairly quickly. I’m not a fan of the time change either. I understand the reasons for it back in the day, but it doesn’t seem to be necessary in today’s world. I agree with AV, just leave the clocks alone year-round!

Went to the ‘after party’ at MIL’s to watch her open gifts. Once I got home I realized how tired I was! Sat on the couch and bam, out like a light!
My duo has been spending most of their time at Dorry’s party. There is evidence that they did stop back home from time to time, perhaps bringing friends. There is a saucer with just a bit of nip punch in the kitchen and crumbs of what appear to be salmon cake or treats. No biggie, since Hazel has to vacuum anyway.

I’ve been to Disney World twice, 1976 and 1996. Maybe another visit in 2016? 🙂 that is interesting about the cats.
Took a walk around the lake today, that’s 3 weekends in a row! Still sort of a pain with all the ice and snow; the roads are still extra narrow. Today was a bright sunshiny day, but the wind was biting. Still, it felt good to get some air. Snow is melting and starting to see rocks and shrubs. It will be a bit longer till we see our lawns around here.

    Greeting Littermates!
We will be ‘falling back’ on 6th April. I really will miss the longer evenings, great for gardening and bbq’s.
We have another sunny day but there is the possibility of some nasty wind and rain by the weekend.
HRH Shadz is lurking outside somewhere, or maybe still at Dorry’s party. She did pop home lastnight to sleep on the bed. She mumbled something about needing to make sure her hoomins were ok.
SM, sorry you are coming down with something and I hope you get over it quickly.
    Yay to melting snow.
Lunch time here, off to make a salad.

Hi MS. Shadz stopped by here earlier to get Leela and head to Dorry’s party.
I’ll like the longer evenings when it’s not quite so cold. For now, it’s annoying that it’s dark in the morning for a few weeks.
Oh! I got a glimpse of our Christmas tree, it is emerging from the snow. We always put it out and look at it in the sun for possible missed ornaments before taking it uptown to recycle. It got buried in snow before we could properly inspect it!

LOL at the Christmas tree rising from the snow, that does mean the snow is melting and that Spring is on the way.
Just the opposite here, the tree leaves are beginning to change colour and fall here although we are still getting lovely hot days and even nights.
Joan, thanks for the heads up on where the dappled minx is, I wonder what mischief she and Leela will get up to at Dorry’s party.
