George and I got *this close* to a perfect night last night, and then I blew it by closing the bathroom door. Up to that point he was a perfect gentlekitty, hanging out on the sofa while hubby & I watched a movie. No jumping on the big chair and biting Mom on the leg. But then silly Mom closed the door to the bathroom. I heard him scratching at the door and thought, “Uh oh”. When I opened the door he was giving me that look, the look that says “I’m gonna bite you on the leg, lady”. I tossed a wadded up piece of paper past him down the hall and he just looked at me like, “What? You think I’m going to fall for that?”. When I tried to walk past him he jumped on my leg and when I kicked him off he just came straight back at me. Hubby finally came out of the bedroom, at which point George immediately vamoosed. So, once again I went to bed shaking like a leaf.
And just think, while I was brushing my teeth I was thinking about how I was going to tell you all this morning what a good boy Georgie was :S
