Hi Jcat,CM, news. . . Mr MS’s big fishing competition was a wash out because of the weather, the earthworks below us have huge ‘canyons’ washed out, because of the weather(again). Shadz has still been catching mice(yummy) and I have 3 monarch caterpillars munching away inside. I’ve had a nasty cold for several days and have a cough that loves to break out at the most inopportune moment, but I’m getting over it slowly.

Oh, that sounds nasty. Nasty weather, nasty earthworks, nasty cold. The monarch butterflies sound nice. I’ve seen three flying past my front door in the last week (or perhaps it was the same one, three times!)

Have you heard much from KK? We haven’t. I suspect she hasn’t been able to stop playing with little Ringo, lol…

MS, so good to see you and hope that danged cold and cough goes away soon. HRH has been earning her keep it seems with catching all the meeces, and your caterpillars growing like they should be inside (when will they emerge and be ready for their release out in the big world?), sorry that the fishing competition was a wash out, and really sorry that they didn’t anticipate rains when they did all that earthwork below you (besides damaging your tree when they were doing it)……ok did I say it was good to see you back again, yes we missed you on the NS 😀

Boy the colds have gone around TDK, we had them last week MS, all of us but Maddie. Little Abbie was sick and still has a bit of congestion. I hope you feel better soon.

I like the thought of butterflies. 🙂 Now I can’t wait for spring!!

I hope you have a lovely spring, CM, and that we have a lovely autumn. The grapevines over here all go red in the autumn, it’s kinda nice.

Jcat, my grapevine is hanging with wonderful bunches of grapes and the fragrance wafting from them is heavenly. I tried some today and they are just about perfect.

We would love to have you CM, but most of our native trees are evergreen so you might not notice much difference….

Unless you went to Christchurch, they have lots of deciduous trees down there. But nothing like the United States in the fall.

MS, I am so jealous of your gardening abilities. I am going to have to plant a grapevine for eating too…
