    Happy NS Shifters! I hope this finds you well and you are headed toward a relaxing weekend. We have a simple pizza and pasta set up tonight. Lots of drinks and cuddly companions. Come on by and unwind with us. I am very happy to put my paws up and relax with everyone.

    Joan, sorry about your back hurting. 🙁 Good you went for that walk though. It was nice here today and I could have hung some wash, but since some people have woodstoves going near here, don’t want the smell on my clothes, so just hung them inside. LOL I need the extra moisture inside anyway.

    Hi MC, BB & GD. Friday night – time for a margarita! I think my back needed lots of stretching as it feels better. Next walk will be with inserts in the sneaks though! It was a really nice day, and a beautiful sunset. The woodburner is going now though, as it’s cooled off.

    Evening Shifters!!!!……. had a nice and ‘catch up’ day, Mr. AV took me out for pizza tonite, and now we’re in for a good rest before going ‘hard at it’ tomorrow and Sunday to get our new biz off the ground!……. *exhausted* ……

    still waiting to hear from Dau on the ‘hypo-allergenic’ cat, a Siberian, that she and BF are trying to adopt……. she ordered the ‘sample’ hair, so that she could ‘test’ BF to see if he’ll have a problem!…….. I’m praying that it will be ok for him, cause Dau REALLY wants a ‘baby’…….. LOL

    Hi MS!

    I can’t sleeeeeeppp :(:(:( I blame the flat, crappy pillow at the dog sitting house, and the fact that it’s my first night staying over here. I have a ton of stuff to do today, and was going to get up at 6:00 anyway, so I think I’ll just get up now and get on with my day. Have three houses of dogs to take care of and a volunteer meeting for the tournament with 300 people attending, and I’m not quite ready for it. Also need to go shopping for more supplies for the event.

    I hate flat pillows – and hard beds 🙁

    At second dog’s house now waiting for Panera to open at 6:30 so I can caffeinate myself, and then it’s on to two more dogs and then home to prepare for my orientation.

    GD, I hate flat pillows too and hard mattresses drive me nuts. Good luck with your orientation even though you won’t need it.

    Thanks, AZ! I’m going to bring a pillow from home next time.

    I was so much better prepared for the tournament last year! I’ve been really busy lately and haven’t had the time to prepare like I did last year. I think I’ll be okay, though – I know what I have to go over with my group (45 drivers), and am going to meet with the head director of volunteers before the meeting to go over things for the other 250 volunteers who I will be in charge of come tournament time. So hopefully I’ll be ready! Tournament starts Friday and I start on site Wednesday. My car has been having problems and I’ve been too busy to be able to take it to the mechanic, so I’m hoping it’ll run through Wednesday when I’ll get a tournament car to drive and will be able to take my own to the mechanic and leave it there to get fixed.

    GD, I would bring my own pillow(s), heck I do that when going to any place I am spending the night. Last year you weren’t working umpteen jobs plus trying to get things ready for the tournament.

    Well its that time of day for me, got to clean up, shut things down and get ready to vacate the chair so someone else can sit in it 🙂

    Deb, the tiny orange kitten on the Marine’s shoulder made me go awwwwwwwwwww. What a cutie.

    GD, sorry you had a bad night sleep, no fun. Good luck with the tournament, though, and have fun!
