Just had a yummy dinner of rotini and vodka sauce topped with fresh shredded sharp cheddar and a salad on the side. I have a recipe around somewhere for vodka sauce; I’d like to make more stuff myself – it can’t be too hard.

I’m sipping on a cranberry lime Smirnoff, it’s quite tasty.

Enjoy a virtual helping of anything and everything above! Natch, there’s everything else here and kittehs to serve your every craving.

    Welcome to Friday night!

Hi ladies! Choc covered strawberries sound really good! Here comes your order CSBM, with a bunch of kittens running along behind, ready to cuddle.

I try not to make it a habit of going to Rita’s Ice, but when I do, I almost always combine the fruit flavor ice I choose with chocolate ice cream. Vanilla goes with everything, and is delicious of course, but chocolate adds another dimension.

    Evening CSBM.

Joan, I used to be a chocoholic but not so much anymore. Can’t eat chocolate cake or ice cream anymore and usually not much in candy either.

Evening Shifters!………….. had a nice dinner of baked chicken, fresh green beans and (yes) french fries!……………. 2 out of 3 healthy works for me! LOL

……. Cuddles is doing much better since her ‘trip’ to the VET and is taking her pain meds like a good girl……….. Abby isn’t too sure about her big sis, but is keeping a careful eye on her! (LOL)

…… Mr. AV is ‘addicted’ to a netflix show, so I’m having a me/Abby night reading and watching some DVR’d stuff! ………….. loving the ‘me’ time…. hope everyone is having a good evening!

    Yay for Cuddles feeling better!

Guess what I had for dinner? Dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets! The just turned 5 year-old brother to the dogs I walk apparently asked his mom if they could go out for dinner. She asked him where he would like to go, and he said that he wanted his parents to go out for dinner, and then he wanted to hang out with me. His mom was shocked by this coming from her son who usually cries inconsolably whenever she gets a babysitter for him. So I said I’d watch him while they went out for dinner, and everyone was happy. We walked one of the dogs, did some drawing, and watched Rudolph the Rednosed Reindeer. Now I’m tired!!

XBF saved my butt again earlier. Came and took out the battery from my car and drove me all over to find a good deal on a new one. When we couldn’t find a very affordable one, he insisited on buying it for me. I couldnt really afford to say no to that, but I’m making a note to pay him back at some point. Anyway, he got the new battery installed, and now the old jeep is running again. What a relief!

GD, you are a good hearted person and the little 5 yr old knows it ๐Ÿ™‚ Very nice of the XBF, he has saved you grief on so many levels, he is a good hearted soul too.

AV, yay on Cuddles feeling better and even for Abby keeping an *eye* on her big sisfer.

MS steps into the NS office wearing a hospital face mask. Stay back! I’m all germy and sound like Harvey Fierstein with a case of whooping cough.

I will be missing from NS tonight, just feeling too c**p with this cld that has settled in my throat.

Joan your vodka sauce sounds delicious. Recipe please(bats eyelashes)

AV, yay on Cuddles feeling better. Snuggy is also feeling better on her new meds too.

GD, awwwwww you have a fan. That is pretty special if he feels safe with you while his parents go out or dinner. XBF did you a wonderful favour and you passed it along for the young boy, that’s so nice.

    Deb, sorry I won’t be on tonight, I hope w**k isn’t crazy.

I am almost willing to pass a hat around for donations for this gentleman, not saying what the donations would be. And the women are just as much to blame, especially the ones with multiple children fathered by him.

    http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow/man-fathered-30-kids-needs-break-child-support-140439765.html

This is one of the best responses I saw in the comments section:

P.D. รขโ‚ฌยข Miami, Florida รขโ‚ฌยข 8 hrs ago Hmmm….. This sperm donor is making kids faster (and higher) than he or his women can count! Here is an idea!

He should quit his minimum wage job, and baby sit the kids all day. Then have the dumb clucks go out and work at minimum wage jobs. That way, they are earning 11 minimum wages instead of 1…

At the end of the day he would be too exhausted to father more kids…

    Its just math…

Thanks for the links, Deb. I extra loved the scared-looking little orangie found in the woods, so glad she found a home.

Also love the pics of Theo (aka Teho from Cute Overload) visiting the IBKC. He wrote the most awesome blog about fostering kittens, but it looks like the site it was on is defunct ๐Ÿ™

Evening all, stay back, I’m still coughing and spluttering.

Snuggy report – she is doing very well, almost back to normal and extremely vocal when she spied the raw meat container. Consequently she is replacing the weight she lost while ill.

Unfortunately, the neighbours two cats have both gone to the Meadow with renal failure, Snuggy would tolerate them and they would allow her to sunbathe on their territory.

Evening Jan, glad that Snuggy is feeling better. RIP to the neighbours two kitties, may they be relaxing in the meadow now. Wish that you were feeling better though.

KK, I just found the recipe! Butter, crushed pepper, crushed tomatoes, heavy cream, grated cheese and vodka. Seems easy enough, but I’d be glad to try yours too!

Hehe, one more day Deb! Actually, it will be a short week. Have some time to use up by June 30 so I’m taking Friday off. I have an all day workshop to attend on Thursday, so just 3 days in the office, yay!
