It’s time to head up North, to La Belle Province of Québec, Canada for a traditional “Cabane A Sucre”! Maple sugar, and all the traditional go-withs. “Chef de cuisine et son brigade” have set up a cat-astrophically sweet buffet. Then sleigh rides and gamboling in the snow. So pack up your kits and kaboodle and come on over, there’s virtually plenty of room for all. Bon appetit!

Oooh, sweets! I have some of those sugar on a stick thingys. You put them in your tea.

KJ, Leela and Comet are coming thru the wormhole, complete with parkas and snowshoes. It took a bit of convincing for Leela since she’s still in hibernation mode, but she likes going to new places.

Nirmal, thanks for another Foamy the Squirrel – will check it out later when ‘big brother’ isn’t watching. 🙂

Woo hoo…maple syrup time at neighbor KJ to the Nort’ Told my kits it’s way Up North, passed our Up Nort’/LOL!
They will gather their warm weather gear & be heading thru the wormhole soon too!
In the mean time…yay, it’s A TGIF kinda day!

Wow finally was able to log in without a problem, yay.

But then again I have been having a hard time adjusting to new meds the past week and a half, yuck. Hope that it is getting easier as time goes on, the Crew is being crazy right now gave them fresh catnip leaves so the excitement and running to and fro has begun 🙂

Love bacon but not the mess, baking it in the oven is so much easier.

Put aluminum foil on the cookie sheet or the pan you are using, lay the bacon out without overlapping, turn on the oven to 450F (do not pre-heat) and set your timer for 18-20 mins 🙂

Welcome all!

Enjoy that traditional sweets and the boost of energy that’s the natural go-with! Then everyone can try an old-fashioned sing-along or smack some wooden spoons on the table to the beat. I’ve provided a stock of traditional flannel shirts for the kits. And yes they do come in bright pink for Divas Leela, Scoot, Nutini and HRH Shadz.

Pssst don’t tell my landlord that there’s a kaboodle of kits in my place, my lease only allows the one. I’m sure he won’t notice, even if they decide to stay overnight and enjoy some chilling stories about the legendary loup-garou, the lone werewolf of Quebec lore. Not your average werewolf, and most certainly not as dapper as the Werewolves of London, with their “perfect hair and Chinese menus”. I’ll spare everyone the Warren Zevon Hit LOL.

Mmmmmm … JK. I use maple syrup when making applesauce, maple flavour milk in my latte and hot cereal, maple syrup on waffles. I’m a good Quebecoise LOL. Dorry has opted for a red/black flannel shirt. He thinks that it gives him a macho “voyageur” look – not! Wondering if those voyageurs had kits aboard their canoes. Check out this pic – there’s a “woman” aboard so whyever not a kit. Now that’s something I never learned in Mr. Shackleton’s Canadian History class!

Signed a kid’s working papers yesterday – she’s working at a nearby Rita’s. She said the cotton candy ice is great! Must try it next time I go there. Too chilly and rainy today though.

Bien sur, JK! Had to import a huge tub of clean snow from the country, the city snow has mostly melted, and what’s left, well peeps walk their doggies … I’ll say no more LOL. Tux has generously agreed to model the going look in headgear. Does he not have a certain “je ne sais quoi”?

Your two are behaving, well sort of very well Joan. The girl kitties are trying on hats and giggling at each other. The boy kitties are trying to scare each other with “loup garou” tales. OK one of the boy kitties had the brilliant idea of pouncing in the snow, just after the maple syrup had cooled. And of course the rest followed. Thankfully they’re having a blast licking the sticky syrup off in lieu of a dreaded bath, so they should return home all sleek and shiny. Whose idea was it? My lips are sealed, I’ll let you guess.

Oh oh…must have been why Tux reacted with such surprise as he tried on hats…Babushka lady gave her opinion…sort of reminded him of
Grumpy Cat – maybe his sales mgr/LOL!

Grumpy was trying to sell his T-shirts vs hats to the kits!
