Every pet deserves it’s day. Mutts as goggies and moggies as kits. We won’t see them strutting around any shows trying to prove that they are the best. ‘Cause we already know that they are!

Good morning – loved the pic of the kitty and noted the bent hammer! And the kitty playing with the moon/ball of yarn is adorable!
While walking around the lake someone drove up and asked if the road goes back around to the lake entrance or does he have to turn around. I told him he has to turn at the next street, turn again, then again and go down a steep road to get back on this road that leads back out. Later I thought I should have said to go up the road, turn at the sign that says ‘to the pool’ and go down that hill. Oops, that would have put him in the lake!
Bathed in moonlight for about an hour before it set behind the trees and the sky lightened as the sun rose.

Morning all! ….. TGIF!!!! … I worked so hard this week, so I have today free *happy dances* ….. Mr. AV and I are going to head out to the new Bass Outdoor Store that is having it’s grand opening in Brandon (15 min drive), have lunch at a little diner in that area that was featured on ‘Diners Drive-ins and Dives’, and then meander somewhere – possibly one of the local wineries or craft beer brewing companies, that have become SO prevalent in this area! …. don’t really know what kind of trouble we’ll get into 😉 just have fun!

Got new collars for the trio – thought they deserved new ones since they have new licenses, and Mac is still wearing the flea collar I put on him last summer. Pink for Leela, and I’m not sure about the boys – there’s a blue one and a green one. Had Mac in mind for the blue one but Comet already has a green one so might change the color for him. Comet was adorable this morning (he always is!), he sat on the sink while I was in the shower and when I got out he gave me his signature tilty-head look. “Mama, why you go in there and get all wet? You just have to dry yourself off when you come out!”
AV, what’s the name of the diner? Hubby and I watch Triple D.

Hi Everyone,

Watched the moon last night and will be out tonight. Luna is so beautiful any night but esp. now! Starting my day off with coffee and then a pedicure. LOL at the hair straighter kittah.

Good Morning….
Nice and cool this morning. I had the windows open with fans and got the temp. down to 72* inside. Ah…..
Just washed out some clothes. They are dripping in the shower for a bit, then I will take them outside to the line. Perfect day for wash!
Have so much to do today, but am not feeling too ambitious…..
Oh, that moon was just GOEGEOUS last night!!

Oooh, a pedicure, enjoy that, PG! Let us know what color you went with. I want to do a home one this weekend and need to decide on a color, they’re light green now. Have done blue, red, pink, purple and turquoise this summer.
LilBit is welcome to zoom thru the wormhole and play with Comet, he’s always looking for fun. Mac plays with him but can be a bit of a bully; Comet just wants to be goofy.
I’ve got lots to do too, but am slowing down as I’ve been up since sunrise and got to bed late last night.
Mutts is one of my favorites! Enjoy Goggie Friday, JK – give Brutie smooches from Auntie Joan. Hope your day goes smoothly and may those billy buds, reports, etc. be uncomplicated and easy to clear away!
It’s starting to heat up but the humidity is down so it doesn’t feel as oppressive as it was earlier this week. Will be sweating later at the Farmer’s Market, though the shelter booth has a canopy and as long as the breeze keeps up it might not be bad. Family dinner later, ordering pizza. I picked up some watermelon, should be nice and refreshing.

Afternoon all!
Somewhat cooler today which is a relief. So on way to gym spotted me a street find, and it was still there on way home. It’s replacing another street find for now, a stunning (IMHO) end table, but sadly I nearly tripped over it yesterday which would srsly be not good. Do for now it’s relegated to locker as I ponder what to do with it, or decide to rehome it. here’s the new one, I took it as I liked the modern styling. It will also be great for storing cushions when I toss them off futon when I fully open it. Needed little sprucing up, some painting, tightening the screws and putting together the padded top so that it can also be used as footstool. All told like 45 min work. Now it’s on to some Hazeling, that said, a good plan as a busy KJ is a less-stressed KJ!

Another great find, KJ!

Glad to finally be able to pop in long enough to say hi today. Took the boys to the museum this am to see a traveling exhibit we wanted to see. Then baking and cooking after lunch. Resting my feet while my chili simmers.

From across the museum parking lot I spotted a cousin (once removed) I hadn’t seen in years. I never would have recognized her if not for facebook. Her current eyeglasses have a distinctive shape. I remember her mostly from when I was a child and she was a (1970’s) super cool teenager. She’s a grandma now. I got to meet her grandbaby who I always see cute photos of on facebook. I know some aren’t a fan, but I really love Facebook for keeping up with family and friends. Some folks, like this cousin, I get to know better through Facebook than I ever knew them when I’d see them in person.

Awww, what a sweet pic of Emily ECB! I agree with you on Facebook, although I swear some people could make a living out of being on it. I mostly just read, lurk, and look at all the cat stuff on there! I keep in touch with cousins that I never see that way also.
Well right now, I’m officially a mouth breather.. 😮 as I have been fighting off a scratchy, sore throat, sneezing, runny nose. My nose is so swollen inside I can not breathe with my mouth shut. 😡 How does a person get this sh!t in the middle of summer? Poor little Avery and I came down with it the same day! I need a hot soak in the tub, and to lay down in my bed…thank God it’s FRIDAY!!!!

The lady who does my pedicures is so sweet and creative. This week I got mint green with black lines and silver. She does the decoration on my big toes.
