Today is the day to end those numerous, annoying answering machine messages. How to accomplish this feat? Caller ID is one way. Or get your kits to answer the phone!

Good morning all! …. what a lovely day! 69 degrees high and sunny sunny sunny! …. 70 for tomorrows’ parade! …. we couldn’t ask for more beautiful weather!!…..

….. roads will begin closing this evening at 10pm, and traffic is already a nightmare! ….. I did my ‘big grocery shop’ yesterday, and it took at least 20 minutes to go the 1/2 mile from my house to the store (I’m usually there in 5 or less) ….. glad I don’t have to go out anymore until Monday! …..

Dau and other guests are flying out of NYC today, I hope weather permits flights on time …..

…. Abby and I had a long talk last night, and we’ve decided that it will be best for her to stay in ‘our’ bedroom tomorrow, as there will be many people coming/going in the house, and she is a shy girl …. I’ll put her food/water in my bathroom (her litterbox lives in my toilet closet anyway) and I’ll bring her donut bed/heating bed up and situate it on the lounge chair near the bed …. plus she’ll have her blue blankie on the bed to hang out on ….. of course, white kitty will be there too ….. Gasparilla, New Years and 4th of July are NOT her favorite days! ….. the fireworks etc. terrify her …..

AV, how awesome to have the kids visiting for the big weekend! It’s snowing lightly here, but it shouldn’t affect air travel. Abby will be nice and comfy in her room; hopefully she will be so comfortable that she will not be too frightened.

It’s been a quite day here today.. Making homemade angus burgers stuffed with mozzarella topped with grilled bell peppers ..

Our new rug arrive today too 🙂 it’s really nice but not sure how long it will last in our home..

Morning Buttons! Love the purple rug! …. Mr. Noodle can’t ‘blend in’ any more! LOL

….. send MP, Nutini, Noodle and any other kits who want to join the party thru the wormhole ….. Abby will be hosting her own pirate party for the kits on her ‘virtural’ porch ….. it’s a place where they will see all the action, but magically nothing will be scary ….. and everyone should of course, dress in their best pirate gear! …. Abby has a ‘wench’ costume, complete with a feather plummed hat! ……

What a pretty rug, Buttons – will certainly decrease Noodle’s chances of getting stepped on!
Leela and Comet are looking forward to Abby’s party! Mac is still unsure, but maybe he will come. Leela likes to watch the pretty colors in the sky without the loud noises. Comet thinks he likes the loud booms, but he actually is afraid. It’s going to be a fun weekend!

Good morning…. just started snowing here again! We received about 1-1/2″ overnight. I put the garbage up and did a quick shovel of the snow in the driveway, but still need to clean my car off, etc.
Just saw on TV where in Osaka, there are many cat cafes as people aren’t allowed pets due to “bothering” other tenants. They wear masks so as not to infect another person too. SO respectful!
Gavin has been glued to that spot, where I made the little circle of rolled up blanket, on the bed where he snuggles inside of. I made the circle smaller to he can be really warm. Awwww… SO cute! Chad has been going under the top blanket and sticking his nose out! Cats really know how to enjoy life!!
AV… Miss Abby is sure “Pampered”…. How nice to be all set up in your bedroom. You must be beyond excited to see your kids!!!!
Hi Buttons!! Love your new rug. The purple looks so pretty on your cozy couch! Hope your burgers come out yummy!

Great color for rug/accessories Buttons – looks as if Mr Noodles agrees!

Yay, it’s Friday – but no goggie as Brutie today…stayin’ home w/sis Callie who injured her paw/no doggie day care for her today…

So Mr Otto was around last nite & he brought furry friend/brownish tabby cat with lighter face – darker tail, no pic for it was dark.
Other kit seemed little timid but waited ’til I filled other bowl w/me back on porch – got right to nomz. 🙂

OK, time to get back to desk – it’s end of month today so will be back when I can.
Now a smooch for Tux, later kits.

Aww, Gavin and Chad are nice and cozy, so cute!
Nice of Brutie to keep Miss Callie company. So Otto has a new friend, eh? Funny how cats spread the word of good human care.
It’s been snowing since last night and starting to taper off now. It was a light snow, so there’s just a few inches. The wind is picking up though, and temps are supposed to plunge big time, oh joy.
Saw the pretty Mrs. Cardinal at the feeder. She is not bright and flashy like Mr. C, but is quite classy and elegant.

Quiet in the Café and I’m just about ready to virtually pass out cold on Button’s black leather couch while admiring new rug with Mr. Noodle for purry company LOL. Went to bad at 3:30 am – late night or early morning? O’dark thirty for sure. And am feeling it big time, but as someone mentioned I can sleep all day tomorrow so yeah.
Joan, I’ve decided to name your girl cardinal Claudia, after the 60s actress Claudia Cardinale, I hope you don’t mind.
Dorry’s rifling through his treasure chest deciding what to bring to Gasparilla. He thinks that “pieces of eight” have something to do with nomz (eight/ate). Silly boy!
Weekend Lounge will be ready for pirating fun before sundown. 😉

Yay, it’s time for lunch! Yum – tempting smell as fresh Croissants!
In honor of today’s treat of day café kits have whipped up a batch. Now they are ready as treat!
Just stop on in for one or two along with purry/furry company!

They have hung a picture in window as available today!
There is a dilute orangie duo as purry imposters currently snoozing in café too!

Gives both kits a scratch…now headed out to patio with yummy treat & Tux – to the lounge chair for some RR!

on Mac, I hope you come with Leela and Comet … your buddy Jojo will be there, and I’m hoping his little sis ‘Little Cuddles’ will come too …. Abby made eye patches for all the kitties that want one, and has little bandana scarfs for everyone too ….. she also likes Dorry’s idea that ‘pieces of 8’ means every kitty gets 8 treats! LOL

My kits will be there, still working on their outfits.
Diva Scoot is looking forward to hanging out with her sistas in fur! Know Luck/Crock are planning to share
some stash as games/treats for all!
Asking Aunt Joan to keep eye on trio & send home in time for pm curfew caturday nite!
