Friday 26-05-2015 – Honouring Sally Ride Day

Good morning everyone! It’s finally Friday! Beautiful day here after a couple days of rain and storms. I have baby Peso fed and he’s back in his bed. I have a free day today as Avery’s mom took the day off and will have a long weekend with the holiday being Monday!!

Nr, KZ has been feeling funky–sore throat. I think he feels a little better today, he seemed a little perkier. Trying not to catch whatever he has, but people seem to still be catching weird bugs. Wonder if it’s because of our cold/hot/cold/rainy weather?

More kitchen work today. They paused for two days waiting for a section of counter to be remade. But kitchen was usable for cooking, so not too bad to pause.

Almost time for lunch, yay…It’s coming up to long Memorial Day Weekend in US too…sun is out for now, although can’t count on Ma Nature yet for perfect weather!

I took a long walk/hike today and then went to the store. Stopped by the garden center on the way back up the mountain. Did some outdoor cleanup and before I knew it, it was dinner time.

I’ve got a brand new great nephew! His name is William, 9.3 lbs, 21 3’4 inches, born at 1:18am pacific time. My phone has been blowing up with texts!

Saturday here and it’s a wet one, rained all night and all day so far. HRH is buried deep in her beanbag now after spending the morning outside watching the rain fall. I got great enjoyment out of watching a neighbours ducks and goose couple enjoying the rain and slurping up the worms flushed to the surface by all the rain.
Yay, Mr MS managed to repair the driveshaft of his ute thanks to fiends in the car part business and he was trying to catch up on the work he should have done. Eventually the rain drove him off. He was pretty wet by the time he came home. He did bring a bunny for HRH who has been super picky with food this week. I suspect her mouth may have been hurt when she had a cat fight but now she is eating more freely. She loves her Daddy.
KZ, hope Mr KZ funky throat turns out to be nothing. Mr MS has had a funky throat too but so far that is all it has been.

Wow JJ, they sure do breed babes big in your family. Congrats on another great nephew. Is this one close to you so you can get hugs and cuddles?
