Oh my gosh. How did anyone ever get 4 cats in costumes AND get them all sitting in a row for a photo. That must be photoshopped. LOL. Love the photos…lol cat in the making is cute.

Heading to our new house today to do some cleaning. He left it in good shape, but it needs a little tidying up here and there. Hubby really loved the house. Wish we could tell the cats how lucky they are going to be. They’ll have their cat tree and perches back…lots of windows to look out (I’ll set up bird feeders ASAP). And they’ll finally have the run of the house again. I’ve missed having them pester me while I’m cooking. :). Without Eko to remind me, I’ve been forgetting their occasional raw egg yolk treat. Anytime he hears an egg carton come out of the fridge he comes running. If that boy was an outdoor kitty, none of the birds nests in the neighborhood would be safe. :).

Good Morning KJ! That lawyer kitty would be scary if she wasn’t so darn cute! I don’t sew all that much, just have a hand held thingy that gets basic jobs done. When I was a kid I would go with my mother to the fabric store where we would pick out a pattern and material for the dress I would wear on the first day of school.

Hi ECB – didn’t see you when I posted, probably because it took a while to post from start to finish. ADD is certainly no laughing matter, but it is when we make fun of ourselves. Someone told me I have something more like ADOS: attention deficit oooh, shiny!
How exciting to move into the new place! Lots of work, but it is sooo worth it. I’m sure Lucy will be there in spirit with you. Whatever she is doing, whatever the adventure is, I’m certain she hasn’t forgotten you.

Morning all! ECB I’m so excited for you to be able to cook, clean, put trees up, just generally be on your own again is so wonderful! And I wondered the same thing about the 4 cats, how did they do that?!
Hi Joan, loved the ADOS, someone once told me I was so *random*….wth?! Hey, I have a lot on my plate!
KJ, love the pictures, they are so cute.
Well, Leona got to sleep with me last night> she was tucked under my chin on the right and Willow was asleep on my neck on the left….while I stayed awake worrying that they would both find each other in the dark and forget I was in the middle and rip my face off! LOL! My gosh, I don’t think I hardly slept at all..

BTW my dad had “professional” tailors as uncles etc way back when…came over from old country/Poland.

Hey are we having fun yet…Need Java – quick!
    need coffee quick kit
Drink your coffee kit…soon you’ll turn into a big ol’ orangie fluffer:
    orangie - TGIF
    LOL
OK…waves to Joan, KZ, ECB & all who stop in to have a great day…me, grabbing cuppa java & back at it! Now a smooch for Tux, later kits!

Interesting theme! I’m often finding myself dealing with difficult things and it’s often hard to walk the line of a solution n screwing it up worse.

I was I think diagnosed with ADD as a kid. I was on Ritalin as a lil one for some time n then it got abandoned. I think I’m more an ADOS 😉 I’m a big magpie.

Jean, some of my relatives probably had too. But here u were left to fend for urself. In PA all the ma n pa shops, butchers, fish stores, veggie stands, etc were gone. Fruit n veggie stands were something u saw in the spring n summer on a roadside country drive or trip to the pumpkin patch. Up here it’s very different. I actually DID use a tailor for my choli top. I got a beautiful set for my bday but the top needed to b seen n I didn’t feel like doing it myself, even tho I can sew. I still havnt used butchers or the fish stores. Id like to, I’m just not used to them n one day I’ll do it!

Hi KZ, JK & Nirmal! Um, great way to sleep, wondering if your face will get ripped off! I only get trampled once in a while, when Comet comes up on the bed to remind Leela he’s still here!
JK, love the tailor pic, so cute!
Hey, Nirmal, I have wondered how folks who were on Ritalin back in the day are faring these days. Haven’t heard anything about that in ages, I guess there’s a new and improved version now.

    Hey all!
This is what happens when you arrive late – all alone, so I think that I’ll grab me some kits to take back through the wormhole and help me finish my Friday Hazeling, which I am just taking break from.
Don’t do sewing ‘cept for minimal, crafts limited to needlepoint, x-stitch and for past several yrs knitting and more knitting – sweaters only. Knew someone yrs ago whose Mom was a seamstress, she could show her a photo from Vogue and Mom could make the exact same thing, no pattern required, lucky girl!
BTW Joan, IMHO the best lawyers should be “so darn cute” this way the “learned counsel” on opposing side doesn’t see it coming. 😉
No ADD here, but at least 2 and purrhaps more “problematic issues” that I get to deal with. *sighs*
I don’t know but back in the day, there was no ADD, no one seemed to be allergic to peanut butter, or maybe they’ve finally figured out why some kids couldn’t hack the curriculum.
JK that ice cream treat looks delish. Must put together fave concoction of several flavours of fr. yogurt in one cup as pleasant way to up calcium intake.

    Ahh, alone no more.
    Hi JK and KZ *waves*
Just sent those kits who were meant to help with Hazeling back to Café, they were no help at all, just like the actual Hazel. Guess it’s back to DIY. Maybe Dorry will fold laundry or at least sit on it. Back L8R.
ECB, so happy for you as new house gradually becoming “home”! 😀
BTW, love the “tailor” kits, JK, esp the one who’s ironing the trousers while the other kit is wearing them – hot pants LOL. I’ll admit to occasionally ironing skirt hem while still wearing it by laying it on table, too lazy or in a hurry to take the thing off LOL.

Hey JK, been Hazeling myself and I’m about sick of it! LOL. I have ironed my skirt hem also without taking it off and have even been so sly as to flat iron my blouse/shirt collar the same way! Those things can iron more than hair I tell ya!
I think I hear my first locust! Gonna jump on the elliptical and then out to mow grass in the sunshine! Later!

Oooh, that purry ice cream looks great. Think I’ll have some!
Hoping I can get the ambition to get some hazeling done – we’ll see.

Lol at flat ironing clothes, KZ. I’d be tempted to try if I had a flat iron. My hair is too kinky to even dream of getting the curls out. I have a steamer…but that might be painful. LOL.

Joan, how did you know that not having Lucy with us is the hardest part of reassembling our household? **tears**. I wonder if the other cats will remember her when they smell the top level of the cat tree. She is the only one who used the top perch much. This is hard to explain, but there was something sad about our other three cats not noticing Lucy disappeared. I don’t think they noticed anyway because their whole world was turned upside down at the time. The day we lost her was the day we moved in here. I truly don’t think they noticed. And that is better for them, I guess. Just as a human I found it sad. She was a good friend to them.

((ECB)) Never say never…purry pause, hugs…prayers for Lucy that she will be part of your life again/furry family again!
Oh yes, hazeling…later tonight! Our local 24 hour bike race RW24 to take back the neighborhood starts tonight at 7pm goes until
Sat 7pm! Biking done in teams or solo every 1/2 hour group is release to compete time! (Sometimes done in costume or as mini
    bike float…LOL/matches our alternative area!)
    RW24 cat kit bicyclist 😉

ECB I too hope that at some point Lucy re-joins family.
I also have curly hair, but just discovered flat iron as my new found friend. I keep it super short so helps, but between instructions from hairdresser on how to maximize use of blowdryer and flat iron I get perfectly straight hair, and having found right mix of product it actually stays that way. Considering we’re in the midst of days with sauna-esque humidity I’m amazed.
JK, maybe it’s all the tats (ouch!) but that biker girl looks like one tough cookie. She can have my bike if she wants it. That is if I had an outdoor bike, which I don’t. Do my biking as spinning indoors, same exercise high without the traffic, cars and potholes, which Montreal is famous for. Guess I go nowhere fast LOL.

Hi, sweeties! I love this sewing thread. Personally, I do a lot of embroidering and sewing and all sorts of lost arts stuff. It is fun.

As for “threading the needle” day, walking the fine line, etc., all women do that — all the time.

    Love,
    Emma

PS: And the others don’t seem to miss Lucy because maybe she is still there with them. Nothing truly loved ever dies.

Hey KJ get w/the times/kidding/LOL – tat’s the new body adornments! (IMHO, wouldn’t do & do NOT have any but to each his own.) Plus when other than normal styles/color hair was in awhile ago…well it’s still alive & well in RW my ‘hood! Again, I sport chin length muted Auburn…sometimes w/few grey roots as interest LOL!

Psst…Hi Emma, thanks for the purry encouragement!
