Friday – 24-06-2016 – It's Swim a Lap Day!

TGIF! Wrapping up a busy week, then looking forward to planning/packing weekend for the upcoming wedding trip! Dau’s Fiance got word this week that his veteran-infusion program with JP Morgan/Chase has offered him a permanent position, so they will be moving to Delaware ….. Dau is ecstatic …. it’s what they’ve really wanted …. she will then transfer her Masters program to a school there, and continue her pursuit of advanced mathematics degree …. she’s a numbers girl like her mama …. I’m so happy for them!
The wedding plans are coming together …. Dau said they will be taking a ‘mini-moon’ for a few days in the Shennadoah Valley, then off to NYC to pack/move (recall, they had their actual honeymoon the month of Dec. where they spent it traveling all over Chile and Argentina) ….. I’ve got Mr. AV a plane ticket to help them move, so Abby and I will hold down the fort here ….. fun and exciting times!
Hot Hot Hot and muggy here, I need to give the fishie pond some water, evaporation takes place quickly these days!

Happy Friday! Lazy day here, my little Avery and her family are on their way to Florida for vacay! Can’t wait to hear from them….they will be plopping feet and butts in sand soon..would love to see Avery hit the beach for the first time!

Peeking in to see what is happening, nice to see that all seem to be having a good time lately. I am so far behind on catching up, fear that I will not even get close 🙂

AV, that is great on your Dau and Fiance’s move to Delaware! So are they moving before the wedding or after? Weddings are exciting, new adventures on hand and the future is out there.

My new grandchild is due in mid October, waiting on the new little one 🙂 Still don’t know whether it will be a boy or girl, they want it to be a surprise even for them.

Joan, how cool that you have a pool, I think I would wait for a bit of a warming spell too.
