Hi Deb and Joan! And any others who come after, lol! LOVE the pictures today, so adorable. I am snuggled in with my 4, it’s raining again this morning…so dark and quiet. Leona heard thunder and decided to take cover under the sofa, which always tickles me because she growls on her way to get there.
Going to try and do some Hazeling today as that hag forgot to show up and she never calls….

Good Morning KJ, Deb & KZ. Cute theme – oh those angelic kitties! Interesting sandwich story – the things people will fight over, sigh. Glad Zeus’ mom shared his story.
Enjoy the rain, KZ. We had some nasty thunderboomers last night. I let Mac stay in for a while, and there was next to no drama. He hisses at Comet, who is probably hesitant to try to play with him because of how Leela treats him. Leela just stares at him and he hasn’t gotten close enough to her to see what the reaction will be.

Awwww MAC! … Joan, YOU are the angel here for caring for him! …. here’s to hoping he and Comet will bond ….

…. Good morning KZ, KJ, Deb, Joan and anyone else up and about! … not raining here, but yesterday had major thunderstorms driving back from Sarasota … funny thing is, it cleared, just as we were driving across the Sunshine skyway (thankfully), that can be scary at the top of that long bridge when it’s stormy! there have been times, when they actually close it during the worst of storms!

…. got another busy day ahead of imput/work, but looking forward to it, now that I have my new computer 🙂

…. will check in later, have a great/productive morning, everyone! …. and curses on that ‘hag’ Hazel, she didn’t show here either! LOL

Good morning! It took me a while to “get” basement cat…now I think it’s quite funny. It is taking me a while to warm up to grumpy cat too, but hating angels is darn funny!!

Hope everyone is having a happy Friday. Not much new here, just enjoying our house and our kitties and trying to get school done while still sorting out things like the utility company goofing up the transfer to our name. All that is so time consuming. This morning as I watched my kitties lead me down the hall to the cat food prep area (the kitchen) I was struck by the pleasant array of kitty fur shades….blonde, black and gray. Cat hair that will show on any surface and any outfit…lol. (Actually mine shed very little, but I’m amuses by our lack of strategy in planning our cat family coloring.)

    Good Morning!!!
After I took the garbage up this morning, I grabbed the hummer feeder on the way in to change the nectar. When I came out on the deck to hang it back up, I saw the male hummer circling around where the feeder usually is… probably thinking… “Where the heck did the food go!” I saw the poor scared female sneaking a drink and sipping while looking around as the male chases her. At least she got to enjoy some nectar. I have no idea just how many hummers I have here. They are so funny to watch.

    Morning!
ECB you do know that Basement Cat is balanced out by his polar opposite as Ceiling Cat, whose angel guide kitty I could use right now.
As for Hazel, looks like as most of us I’m doing my own “Hazeling” today. And looks like that hobgoblin took a part time “job” with Purolator as they messed up delivery of my shoe order 3 times!!!
Not-so-laughable details in yesterday’s Café, late nite. Upshot is delivery is on truck and should arrive today. Result is my total order, 5 prs of shoes including 4 pr NAOT’s is now free. Plus I got 2 very nice discount coupons towards future purchases which will be send Canada Post when I am ready for more shoes. Goodwill/customer service wins out, it’s like I’m getting a bonus for accepting order and not losing it completely with shoe place.
Now Hazel, seems she has personal assistant, ’cause I got her new contract with a 25-page rider ofr requirements. Seems that she’s only “not” cleaning Basements, and I don’t have one, so if she shows up at one of your houses consider yourself fortunate, or purrhaps not.

First seed eater at our bird feeder! A titmouse…older son knows his birds. I didn’t know what he meant…thought there was a mouse eating the seed..lol…I was just thinking the seed was old and I needed to freshen it (and our hummingbird nectar)…hope he liked what he got and comes back.

Last night was trash night in our neighborhood and some critter (cat or raccoon) ate something they found in a Burger King wrapper (not from our trash) on our front porch..leaving the wrapper behind. There are a lot of feral cats around. They like using the path down to the creek that is in our back yard. They look healthy and well fed but at least one is obviously unaltered and one may be pregnant…which worries me. Too overwhelmed to look into it now, but may have to rearch whether there are any TNR efforts in this neighborhood.

Paw up waving…hi Deb/thanks for links – always enjoy your shares!
Aw, hummingbird fun BB. Get ready to be the n’hood feral cat lady ECB/LOL.
    I already have that title!
OK, soon heading out for weekend.
Wishes for all to enjoy the next couple of days! Make some time for “moi” too!
    enjoy scrabble kit
Now a smooch for Tux…back on MOanday!

    Cute scrabble kitty!

Eko just caught a house fly, chewed it, got a funny look on his face, then spit it out. Then he thought “maybe I will” and gobbled it up…cats are endless entertainment.

Well, that scold Hazel never made it here … but my shoes did!!! So friend gets belated b-day gift and it’s good. New pr are introducing themselves to other prs in shoe closet (yes, I know), as styles actually have names … “Hi I’m Lesley NAOT, make yourselves comfortable, I’m Laura NAOT”. Maybe they’re speaking Hebrew as made in Israel. And no I’m not on anything stronger than water at present. LOL.

Have a good wknd JK! If I can get to that point a Caturday deep sleep as in entire day is the plan.

KJ you gave me a chuckle with your shoes talking to each other…I know mine do. (I will say that I’m kind of jealous you having so many Naots!) Kind of like Toy Story: I’ve always thought when I was a little girl that my toys came out to play and the Barbie’s did too. Passed that on to my granddaughters when watching the movie and they love to play make believe like I do…their mother just thinks we’re nuts.
ECB Willow will trash my bay window getting to a fly, it seems that’s where they always go probably because there’s so much light there. But the other day one of the kids opened the door and a horsefly came in and OMG!! They are sooo loud, cats came running from everywhere ~ luckily I got to the door and shooed it back out before any damage was done in the house, LOL!
AND I’M SO GLAD IT’S FRIDAY!!!

Am also sooooo glad it is Friday. What a week! Thought I’d better bring Dru for a sashay through the room and to say a huge thank you for everyone’s kindness while she was ill. She is refusing to recover quietly and is eating like a growing kitten (fair enough really). Will make loads of fuss of her this weekend.
Now you have reminded me to go and do good things- is it enough just not to laugh at youngest son (22) trying to change a lightbulb, or do I have to try harder?

    Hi Judith,
You don’t have to try harder, or at all LOL. Looking after your Dru kitty and cosseting her as she gets back to herself is already a good thing. As for your son and his lightbulb conundrum, if it were me it would probably take enormous fortitude not to laugh, and if I were trying to change said lightbulb I would in all likelihood be the “laughee” (just created a neologism). 😉
