Oooh an early out JK, yay!
    That kitten is adorable.
Bummer about the add’l washing KJ, have a bit of rug scrubbing to do here as Comet barfed on one of Aunt M’s area rugs.

Yeah, I’ve figured out that I don’t ever really need to plan times for bedspread washing. I just wait for the cats to provide the right time. 🙂

Wow, those kids are talented…just hope they don’t grow up before their time!

Sigh, cleaning, scrubbing up after kits. Sometimes seems as if each kit takes turns during the same week/LOL!
Hee hee, Happy Easter weekend all!

Kitten or egg hehe!!! Thing re Dorry and incidents is that he usually aims for the floor. Oh well, not this time. I’m by no means a Pollyanna type and bedding was clean, but now pillows and duvet are super-clean and fresh-smelling and it will be a delight to snuggle into them tonite.
JK, sorry to disappoint/disillusion you but it’s a good 9 mos or so ’til latkes time comes around. Although one can eat what they want all year round, except at Passover that is. Some love matzah and eat it like a cracker all year round. Some non-Jews like matzah and stock up now. Well, not this one. After holiday ends Tues nite there’s a serious muffin with the name KJ written on it. LOL

Big congrats ECB on Mr. ECB getting a job in his field. Great news, and hopefully just the beginning of good things happening.

Joan, hope that Comet hasn’t hidden Easter eggs in the least-expected places, boy kitties, you know … and hope that Pistachio gets home, and my neigbourhood kitty Charlie too.

Lol JK, when Shaddo & Jiggs were old farts, they took turns barfing!
Oh and ECB, congrats to hubby on his job!

Joan did you mean KJ or JK … or both of us re LOL. Whatever. 😉 My only Easter experience is when I worked in dept. store ad dept. back at start of my “ahem” stellar career, and we would write ad for those humongous solid chocolate rabbits. My colleague took it upon herself to calculate the nutritional content of said rabbit and you can figure out the rest. We had samples of all items in stock room and our production mgr used to sneak in and gorge himself on anything chocolate related. Everyone knew, but no one said anything except to each other, we’d be ROTFL. Have not stopped today ’til now and need some rest big-time. So have a GR8 Caturday all, see you tomorrow nite! Over and out!

Thanks, Joan and KJ. We’ve been living with uncertainty about job and where to live next for 17 months now…good to have that settled!

Oh, responding to Jeankit when she mentioned cats taking turns barfing! I usually didn’t see the action, so we figured they took turns!
Comet’s been upchucking lately – must brush him as it seems to be hair ball driven.

Looking forward to a nice Passover and Easter this weekend! …… Dau is on her way home, and Son called to say he misses us, but he and girl he’s been dating are going to the beautiful Cathedral next to Columbia Univ. for services on Sunday….. he said they went Palm Sunday and really enjoyed it!

Hi ECB! Yes that is an amazing cathedral, AV. The cat with ducklings with her kittens is adorable!
Just got back from walking the area where Pistachio was spotted last night, no luck.

Joan, now that you know the basic area, I wonder if a humane trap could be used to catch Pistachio. Is he an indoor/outdoor cat or indoor only? I was reading an article a while back about the difference in the search depending on that question.

As far as I know he is indoor only. I only know this neighbor thru his search for Pistachio. I’ll let him know about a trap – maybe animal control will supply one.
Good chance one of the local kitties will wind up in it!

Evening all, it’s Saturday evening here and I am worn out after shopping with KK,miniKK and my girls all day. Spent some of the evening soaking in a local thermal hot pool to ease our aching bones. Now were are all lobster red and relaxed.
I just made a horrifying discovery, I went to put the Easter eggs for the ‘kids’ into their baskets and discovered a mouse had eaten into one egg right through the foil ! ! Daughter #2 has said we will go shopping for an egg for her tomorrow. HRH Shadz is going to have to pull her weight around here more.
