Aha ! So this is how it happens –

It’s Friday evening, the fire is blazing away and HRH is snuggled up asleep next to me. This afternoon I took her to the v.e.t because she has started to sneezle and sniffle a bit. I didn’t want to hang about and whipped her off in the middle of a downpour and the vet gave her a steroid shot with antibiotics. He checked her stomatitis and was very happy at how it is. I got to check her throat too and it looks so good. All that thanks to Lysine. The vet said he had suggested to a client that they put their cat on Lysine so he is still doing his own research into it. 🙂 🙂 😉

Good morning – one of the most popular and memorable cats in my family was my sister’s cat, a cow cat named PJ.
Hope HRH feels better – the shot and meds should knock out those sneezies in no time. Oh the blazing fire sounds so cozy!
We are heading into a heat wave here. A line of nasty storms came through yesterday afternoon but only seemed to add to the steamy air.

I have cows and I have a cow cat! I love cows. I love their curious nature, so very nosey and they can be incredibly sweet natured. Of course they are big so any licks and nuzzles they may want to give, you must be on your toes or you will be on your a$$ and not remember how you got there! 😆
They flail their heads a lot when getting scritches, so be careful if you place your face or head on theirs….just sayin’.
The air is very steamy here too JJ, we didn’t get anymore rain yesterday, but sadly watched all the storms with rain go just a few miles south of us. 😥 Oh well, someone is getting much needed rain somewhere.

Morning all, happy TGIF! My little Winston (Big Buc’s BFF) was a cow cat …. such a sweet boy, and totally devoted to his big brother, Buc! …. I miss those guys!
Got my work really caught up this week, so today can be a halfa$$ work day and half play day 😉 ….. who knows what kind of trouble I might get into! LOL …. .Where is SOM and the ‘martini in the morning’ crowd when you need them? hehe ….
I made Mr. AV a peach cobbler yesterday, so today I’m making a healthy meal of grilled chicken, fresh green beans and squash casserole …. Dau made me laugh yesterday, it turns out Dude likes people food, and is always begging for a ‘bite’ …. yesterday he absconded with a big green olive right off her plate, and wolfed the whole thing down in the corner before she could get it! LOL silly boy! Check you guys L8R, have a great day!

… yoo hoo, KJ and any other knitters – this made me LOL! They’re like a ‘snuggie on steroids’ ….. I can’t imagine they would even be practical! How would you get up to go get a drink of water? Too funny!

Yeah AV, I’ve had a good LOL at these thingies. Guess you’d either swim to the sink, or crawl snakelike! Think that for now I’ll stick to knitting sweaters – much more practical! 😉

Well, before I segue into Sabbath involving very srs rest wishing all a gr8 Caturday! Oh, I nearly burned the place down as had something in toaster oven and was into finishing up sweater after Knit Circle. I feel certain that I had timer on, thankfully smoke detector came to the rescue! Thank goodness! 😯 🙄
