quite perfect for the jingle cats! hehhe

i gotta admit, even though i get concerned for a cat when they meow, i am not annoyed by cat meowing. i prefer it to babies. i wish people would stop bringing babies and little kids on the bus and subways and bring cats instead. just saying.

Morning KJ & Nirmal. I’m sure you both saw this coming – Comet is very excited and will be coming thru the wormhole is a little while. Did you know that cats have an estimated 100 sounds? Comet has mastered about 85 of them. I have talked Miss Leela into coming as well. She needs to find her voice again as hers has deteriorated to a croak, but behind that somewhere she has a beautiful dainty meow.

Hahaha…fun theme for a TGIF! Well my trio isn’t that talkative, wondering if it’s because they were feral/stray & didn’t do a lot of talking until moved in w/moi! On the other paw feral Otto Gato is very talkative…tells me about it every time he’s around. Once even walked away chattering after Gabby got first dibs on the leftover wet noms. (Dry kibble/water out all of the time unless crows get it!) Anyway that’s my story. Now it’s
time to have Brutie follow a few commands for treat! Grabbing cuppa brew & back I go. Wishing all a great day. Now a smooch for Tux, later kits.

mine used to be very talkative. i KNOW it’s because of me. they went from shy to VERY bold. they went from being afraid of everything to we don’t eat out of food bowls, we just grab cat food cans from ur hands to throw the can we’ll play catch.

Well it’s time for another cuppa java & day old cinny bun left over from yesterday as treat of day!
    cinny bun croissant
    Little yummy tiriva:
The combination of a croissant and cinnamon is a treat that can’t be beat.
Although croissants were first created as far back as the 13th century, cinnamon has been around even longer. The spice is mentioned in Chinese writings in 2800 B.C. and it has since been used in various cultures around the world.

    Mmm, wipes crumb off of face…still nummy…great as a coffee dunker… 🙂

    Hi all,
I see a clowder of girl kitty groupies waiting for Comet’s apurrance LOL.I’m sure (or purrhaps not so sure) that Diva Leela will let him bask in their adoration. Dorry’s meow is in the higher registers, and he uses it to his advantage until I register that he needs noms, attention or something. As the saying goes “the tenors make the ladies swoon, the basses take them home”. 😉

Comet felt a bit shy, but after seeing the pics in the opening post, he and Dorry and a few agency kitties agreed on a few ditties.
“Ma! Maaa! MAAA! Merp? Mom! Oh! Ooh! Moma! Meh! Uwum! Ooop? AH! Mmm. Mama! Meow! MEOW!!” *chatter sound* – I don’t know how to spell that. Another sounds kind of like “Baaa” – sheep-like.
And my personal favorite: “AHWOO!” There are more, but I cannot remember them atm.

Nothing quite like a chorus of caterwauling kitties to remind one of one’s place in the grander scheme of things. LOL

Musical Meezer looks to be quite a COA handful! If they’re taking requests I’d like to hear Tux’s rendition of “Puttin On The Ritz”, kinda goes with his outfit. LOL

Cute singing kitties. I always love when you describe Comet’s sounds, Joan. Mine all talk, but Eko has the cutest and widest range of sounds.

Having a sick day at our house…son has a tummy/fever virus. Other son already had it last weekend, so hopefully we’ll be done with it soon.

Leo and Lucy wear beastie bands as their collars. Eko and Emily found suitable collars before I discovered beastie bands. Leo’s is all tattered (which eventually happens with beastie bands) and my husband keeps asking me to get him a new one. (He loves that cat…lol.) Leo’s last one was cowboy themed, since he was born in West Texas, near Amarillo. This time I thought we should go with a Florida theme so I ordered him this…

    (The alligator one.)
There were so many choices that would fit a Forida theme. Love beastie bands!

Hehe, KJ, I was thinking more along the lines of “Phantom of the Opera”! Though maybe that should be left to the basement cats.
Oh and I am looking forward to hearing goggie’s vocals blending in with the kitties!

Comet is in need of a new collar. He looks awesome in his blue one with the fishies on it. I took Leela’s off quite a while ago so it would be easier to brush her. Just bought a new green one for him and a pink one for her. Can’t remember if there are any designs on them – just picked them up at the supermarket when remembering they could use new ones. Haven’t put them on yet as I have to find their 2014 tags.

You are a Sunflower. You are spirited and vivacious. Willing to do anything to help others be happy, and ask nothing in return. You always see the bright side of any situation and are the life of the party. It is impossible to feel down when you are around.
Please tell me we all had the same answer for #3!
