ok, NOTE TO EVERY ADVERTISER EVERYWHERE – PRINT, INTERNET, TV, ETC. – THAT MCVITTIE’S ADVERT IS HOW AN AD SHOULD BE. NO GIRLS TRYING TO BE ‘SEXY’ SHOWING OFF EVERYTHING. REAL WOMEN WHO HAVE ANY SELF RESPECT DON’T WANT TO SEE THAT. BUT A BUNCH OF EYE WATERINGLY ADORABLE KITTENS COMING OUT OF UR DIGESTIVES PACK…OH HECK YES.

(and yes, i had to watch that several times)

if stuff was advertised like this more often, i’d buy more stuff (when i have money lol). that and guys with face hair.

For sure Joan, Dorry will keep an eye on me, lest I sleep through one of his meals LOL. Anyway, no fever, so crud might just go away or run its course. *sighs* As the saying that’s older than any of us goes “do something about a cold, lasts 8 days, do nothing, lasts a week”. Going to get some coffee and try to rest. L8R or TTTN (Ta til tomorrow nite). If I don’t catch you JK, have a good weekend and catch you on Monday! Glad that your kits and Joan’s are having a fun furry day. 🙂

OK, part 2 Diva update in brewtown.
Well da boyz fell asleep watching the Olympics so the divas borrowed TV time.

Many moons ago when I was in a Jr. Drum & Bugle Corps, the girls’ uniforms were pink. They were sooo cool, pink spanish style billowy-sleeve blouse, pink sequin vest, pink shorts, and our theme song was “The Pink Panther”.

thats awesome! i wasnt able to afford a drum, but i was in the winterguard in school…also many moons ago lol. we had blue tie die outfits that look similar to this –

(without the stripes on sleeves and pants, and all the same colour fabric.)

the farbic was similar to this –

and no we didnt wear face hair or anything. i think we were supposed to be ‘clouds’.

our routine was set to ‘big yellow taxi’.

Wow, thanks for the cool retro share Nirmal…hmm, Winterguard as clouds/LOL Yup, that was a creative time…My era Peace/Love…granny gowns as prom dresses the early 70’s! (I was in Drill
Team which was pretty tame as Navy culottes/red sweater/red/navy tennis shoes!)

Ah yes, Miss Leela is very good with the lobsters, though I don’t know how she procured said lobsters! She made lobster bisque once, the kid’s good!
I was in winterguard too, and we went on the floor to “The Pink Panther”. Our accessory was a pink tail, fun! Never had to go to the hospital, but endured many a hot summer parade, blisters, tendonitis, black eyes, fat lips, bloody noses, broken fingers…but it was worth it – time of my life! I twirled a saber. Worked my way from alternate baton twirler to Drum Major.

Took MIL to the Fla. state fair today

Hello!!
My dear friend grocery shopped for me and ran a few errands as well. Then she shoveled my car out from the pile of ice/snow. I am SO blessed to have her friendship.
Had leftover spaghetti noodles to use up, so made turkey gravy and added some frozen turkey legs meat to it. Also, had lima beans which I was craving! Mmmm… Feeling stuffed now. Ah…
I got to sit in the sun today which felt SO GREAT! The cats did too.

when uve seen some of what i have in my life, THEN u get nigtmares.

i had a guy who looked likde this have a crush on me –

2 guys who made these two look gorgeous –

ive seen my mother flash herself at the ems/cops (long story

saw my grandfather use kitchen knife to scrape his nails

i’ve seen my father, grandfather and uncle relieve themself in innapropriate places and much much more.

BB, that was very nice of your friend – this stuff is super heavy this time around. We had been lucky up to now, light fluffy snow. And your dinner sounds lovely for a mid-winter meal.
