    Hi everyone! I am fostering 3 kittens that are almost 7 weeks old. They are terrified of people, and will hiss if you try to pick them up. I’ve fostered before but the other kitten we had was so different (maybe because she was alone and depended on me more) anyways, these kittens stay hidden in their cage, and I’m trying everything I can to socialize them before we take them back to the shelter. Any advice on what more I should be doing? How long should this behavior last for? My last kitten warmed up to us very quickly. Please help????

    Hi Allison,

    I’m not sure if the kits are feral and/or stray but it doesn’t matter. We will treat them as if they are feral/strays.
