    I’m sure we all know this but just in case we forget-Fireworks do frighten cats! Make sure your fur babies have a place that’s safe and comfy.

    Agree keep pets indoors with comforting toys/blankie. difuser etc.
    Pet calming treats, products, thundershirts etc from local pet store.
    calming meds, natural
    Check TDK store too!

    My local shelter newsletter said they get more lost pets on the 4th – by far – than any other day of the year.

    Unfortunately this time of year as July 1st, Canada Day holiday is also moving day and local SPCA gets more dumped pets than the entire year it would seem, peeps drop them off or worse leave them in former home and it’s like 100 + degrees. If it makes a difference at least we care.
