Have you ever woke up in the morning wishing an atomic bomb would land on your bed so you wouldn’t have to rise?

This morning while feeding the outdoor ferals…the Siamese feral who became pregnant again, showed up looking slim & trim.

    So…..one of 3 things…..

    She had a new brood

    She miscarried (highly unlikely) or

She had a false pregnancy (also highly unlikely)

    I could really,really use that atomic bomb now…..:( 🙁 🙁

But will she bring her little ones to you? That is, if she has had them.

Awwww, Susie. I don’t have a bomb for you, but I’d love to send you a gift card of some sort to help out. If you need it, email me at lotte200622 at yahoo dot com.

And thanks for all you’re doing for the cats!

and ps: if yougo on Nutro Natural Choice’s website, you can send for a coupon for a free 4lb. bag of cat food. Every little thing helps, right?

    Bless You guys Big time.

I’m sorry to say that Miss Priss, has been the most uncooperative Siamese cat I’ve ever in my life encountered. Right now..she’s barely coming within spitting distance of me. She will never bring them to me. She’s always been good at hiding them from danger. She’s also seen several of her kittens get trapped & is entirely too smart to get trapped herself.

I was thinking maybe Instinct could design some weaponry that would shoot a thick-woven net over top of her to trap her. Even if it worked..there’s the kittens…if they’re alive. All I can do is monitor the area she’s staying close to & hope I find them & can retrieve them…hopefully before I need that straight jacket Madcatwoman offered to loan me.

If she is still coming to you for food, then I would guess that the kittens are not too far away. Maybe in a few weeks they will become visible. I wish you the best – you are doing so much hard work for those cats.

Thanks Nibs & Nora’s Mom…This Meezer mom has been out there long enuf to have had at least 3 litters. She’s got more stamina than I do anymore & she’s starting to wear me down.

    Susie,

    Thanks for the update.

Sorry about the again-preg mama meezer. But on the other hand, I admire her intelligence. She don’t want no stinkin’ trap!

    Maybe I&I can offer a solution – I sure don’t have one.

    Good luck.

Susie, so sorry you are feeling such strong negatives from caring for the ferals. I know how frustrating and tiring these “to smart for their own good” ferals can be. I know you don’t have money but if you can get some extra tasty cat food maybe you can entice her at least fairly near. When my last outdoor feral to have kittens was nursing she was coming 4 and 5 times a day to eat. If she will come more often, you may be able to develop a quasi friendly relationship with her. I don’t mean she will come close but at least she will come to rely on you exclusively and when the babes are being weaned she may decide you are a safe source of food for them. I wish you success with this difficult momma meezer and hope you will start seeing the babies 6 or 7 weeks from now.
