I see that a hush has fallen on the night shift. The sun is setting here. I’m going to sign off for the evening. Sweet dreams to all!

It’s 2.05 a.m. AZ time, quiet for the last 5 hours, so let the closing begin gratis Moonshadow, LV, & Tigger begin….good job everyone & bless you…

check – sweep the floor (never know who has been tossing stuff around)

check – lights off and turns out neon “TDK Night-Shift” and “Poetry Jam” sign in window

check – night lights glowing gently, puts on cool jazz radio for ambiance and stragglers check – cat flaps swings creeeeeeeek (pulls out WD-40), check cat flaps again to ensure they swing quietly and effortlessly

check – doors closed, left just ajar so fuzzbutts don’t come to us with complaints

check – dry kibble out as a midnight snack (so hopefully no 5 am breakfast wake-up call) and freshens litter-box. Puts away assorted fuzzy, squeaky cat-toys into Toy-Box

check – windows shut for Northern and Southern TDKers, the weather is so unpredictable in the in between seasons.

Goodnight to all our imaginary friends in TDK land, Goodnight Erin and Jim-boy, and all our family and friends of TDK. Wishing good health and spirits to all those in need and in our hearts, and keep our TDK family safe…blessed be… >^..^<

Peek-a-boo, the hush seems to have descended again. wonder if we can create an uproar here. Ok, at this time of night/morning it won’t be an uproar but maybe a gentle murmur. Reading back posts.

LOL, no just working and it keeps on coming instead of dropping off like normal! So how was your day? Heard that your weather was sunny for a change.

Woohoo, we managed a gentle murmur! ! Happy dance. Yes, we had a wonderful sunny day after a very heavy frost, -0.1C(38.8F) was the overnight low in my garden. This evening the clouds rolled in and it has been raining, and checking out the rain radar we have a front heading our way from the west with more rain in the night. Shadz had her dinner and went straight upstairs to Airy’s/Shadz room to sleep but I found her on my half of our bed a while ago. Hmmmmm, it could get mean when I try to get into bed. How has your day been weather and work wise.

Hi, you two, how’s it going? Just thought I’d add to the murmur — if it’s still murmuring.

LOL did HRH give up on the bean bag? More rain, just what you need, haven’t had any here for a couple of days.

It’s evening here; I should really be doing the dishes or tidying or something but somehow the computer is more alluring…

Hi Jane, at this rate we may get to a dull roar. I believe your weather was fine to start with then rain, well actually that was Wellington.

jcat, almost early morning for you and really early morning for me….its 03:29 here ๐Ÿ™‚

I want rain, then I don’t have to water the trees and the weeds are easier to pull up too.

Hi, MS, nope it’s been fine and sunny here but cooooooolllldddd. Actually not so cold as last night, that was minus four, I b’lieve. Our weather’s always better than Wellington — well, sometimes colder but usually finer (and not so much wind). And I say this as a devoted Wellingtonian (-ex). Jasper has just followed me into the office, he never likes to be far from the action (or food source). Libs is asleep on the beanbag, as usual.

AzDebra, what kind of work do you do at this hour of the morning? Oops, if that’s impolite, please forgive me, this is the first chat room I’ve joined. Not sure on etiquette of asking people personal questions on a public forum(on the other hand, I’m a journalist, I was born asking rude questions…)

Wow, that sounds both fascinating and difficult (shift work’s always hard, I think, and I’m a night owl by nature!) Hi, CM, gosh, strange to think of you up and about in the sunshine, doing all the morning things.

Morning CM, enjoy your coffee. Just going to get myself some, it’s perking on top of the fire.
