    That is easy recipe Dorie. I will have to try it. Maddie actually ate 1/4 of my sloppy joe sammie. She wanted a bite then wanted more, so I cut up the sandwich and gave it to her and she ate it up. I was so pleased!

    Now I want something sweet 🙂

    I guess maddie is a picky eater? My oldest son was that way now at 26 he eats everything and anything! We call him the human vaccuum, I actually have to hide things from him! LOL

    My youngest was and is a great eater he will try anything, he might not like it but he’ll try it!

    My daughter was an easy eater when she was younger but now at 28 she’s a picky eater, She used to love Speghetti, she now hates it, she will not eat tomatoes but loves salsa! She’s a strange one!

    Maddie is actually pretty good. She will try most things. She really hasn’t taken to beef though. Finally in the last couple of weeks, she has eaten some hamburger. She just started to eat veggies too in the last month. She takes her time about liking something but when she does, she goes at it wholeheartedly!

    when my youngest was about 3 I was making eggplant parm. I was frying the breaded eggplant and he came in and asked if he could have one of the cookies I was making, I explained to him they were not cookies that it was fried eggplant. He still wanted one so I gave him one he loved it and ate almost a whole eggplant! To this day when I make eggplant he asks if he can have an eggplant cookie! LOL

    how funny! eggplant cookie. that’s so cute. I love eggplant! I never had it as a child and when I worked in restaurant about 18 years ago, I tried it and loved it. I wish I could make it at home though. I have tried and it comes out nasty.

    The trick is to peel it and slice it thin and soak it in milk for about 2 hours before you fry it!

    really? Soak it in milk..I might have to try that. Get a small eggplant and make it. Hubby is not a fan. Maddie might be if I can make it tasty.

    I learned how to make it from a sicilian friend(Rest her soul) but I have people pay me to make it! My one friend had me make 4 1/2 sterno pans for her sons graduation he begged her to have me make it! I made 5 one just for him!

    Well I am going to bid everyone good night. It’s almost 8pm and I have to get Maddie ready for bed and clean up the dinner dishes.

    Night CM sorry but I had to clean up a mess!

    I am going to kill Chucky!! I’m sitting here and one of the 3 decided to use the litterbox! I started gagging from the smell so I decide to sift it! Now I bought these really cool litter boxes from wallmart it has 4 pieces to it 2 bottoms 1 sifter and the covered top! what you do is you pull one of the bottoms off the bottom of the whole thing!This one has the other bottom and litter above it, You pull the sifter out of the litter and the dirty stuff stays in the sifter and you can throw it away. So I do this and put the sifter in the other bottom and pour the litter back in the clean pan(It sounds complicated but it’s not)We’ll the litter was low so I grab the bag of new litter to add to the box well guess what Chucky did?? He chewed the bag of litter at the bottom of the bag! Do you know what a 20 pound bag of litter can do on a carpet?? I’ve spent the last 20 minutes cleaning it up! While Chucky watched I swear I saw him smiling!!

    Hi peeps~ can’t hang around but wanted to say hey. Tomorrow is the boy’s first day of middle school. The good news is that we don’t have to be at the bus stop until 8:40! Woo Hoo!!!! All through elementary school, we had to be there at 7:20.

    Dotie, I would love the recipe for the eggplant parm!
