    Six Kittens, Two Cats Found Mutilated Behind Church

    GOOSE CREEK, SC — Police are looking for whoever mutilated eight cats, six of them kittens, found in a trash bin behind a church in Goose Creek.

    The animals were found last Friday, their heads smashed and throats cut. Three were dead and the others had to be put to sleep.

    Pearl Sutton with the local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, says it’s one of the worst cases of animal abuse she has seen.

    I’m so sorry to hear this sad news. I’m relieved that the survivors are no longer suffering.

    I hope and pray that the offender/s are discovered soon. Such a craven, viscious act deserves punishment. If the offender is not too far gone, he or she may respond to treatment before choosing more challenging victims.

    Whoever did this is too far gone to be a credit to society ever again. Especially regretful if it was done by kids.
