    December
    Enjoy!

December was originally the tenth month of the year in the Roman calendar until a monthless winter period was divided between January and February. It gets its name from the Latin word “decem” which means tenth. However, when the Romans added January and February to the calendar, it became the twelfth month. The name remained the same however.

That apple pie looks scrumptious, would be nice served hot with a latte methinks. Would be nice if some kind purrson made it for me, or maybe one of the kitty crew can take a break from their book balancing? Roof over your head day, you’re right JK, puts a new purrspective on things.

I should have remembered that this is International Day Of Persons With Disabilities. One of my volunteer efforts is translating bulletins and other docs for a non-profit that assists immigrants with disabilities and just did article on events to mark the day.

Cheesecake looks delish. BTW cheese (in all it’s forms) is a food associated with Hanukkah.
