    Hope all goes well One Popoki – try and take some time out for yourself though, I know only too well that’s easier said than done, but it’s really important. In order to be strong for your family, you have to look after yourself. xx

    Yep… easier said than done. Woke up with headache today. Boss just told me if I can’t get and keep a smile on my face, that he is too grumpy today to deal with it.. and I need to go home. LOL Hmmm… most likely a stress headache, and I will take him up on that. I’ll go for lunch and not come back.

    Well I took the afternoon off from work and slept. Sadly the headache is still here today. Have an appt with the chiropractor today about my shoulder (the MRI *shudder – survived that with valium* should nothing requiring surgery) and will ask him about the headache as well. I think they may all be related.

    Dad’s surgery is tomorrow… so I won’t be here until much later. I take all your positive thoughs, suggestions and prayers with me to the hospital. I’ll share with my mom all your thoughts.

    Hi y’all ! Dad’s surgery went well.. a little more complicated than anticipated, but he is resting in ICU. He’ll be there until they remove the ventilation tube that is helping him breathe. It was a long day.. and I must THANK YOU ALL for your prayers and well wishes. My mom was touched when I shared with her about all of you at this wonderful site.

    Great news ! My dad was moved out of ICU yesterday afternoon!!! It’s still a long recovery road, but that certainly is a good sign. Thanks again for the continued prayers and positive energy.

    A wonderful positive step toward getting home again. So glad to hear news that should help ease your stress before and after the surgery. When is their 55th anniversary? Your special hula sounds fantastic, and I’m sure it will be the highlight of their happy occasion. Still keeping your dad in my prayers that the healing continues.

    Elene – their actual anniversary is Thursday. We won’t pick a party date until Dad is home. Thanks for asking and remembering!
